I think it's much easier to understand the concept of intimacy with God when you realise it comes down to "nakedness". By that I mean being real with who you are and where you are when in His presence. Pretence is the enemy of intimacy.

My pastor has ever told about this intimacy. And this is true am getting deeper to knowing Christ n worship. Thnx a lot Andrew

Well said Andrew... If true worship is akin to intimacy between a man and a woman (Adam knew his wife Eve and she conceived) then it does put a new meaning to the concept of knowing God. Also, collective and public as worship can be, it remains ultimately a very private dialogue of mutual unveiling in which all must be uncovered and all must be given and surrendered.
