I have never understood how to get born again ...yes l know it entails living a holy life but is it a prayer you make to know u saved or?

Being a born again Christian comes as a result of confession of sin, Repentance (doing away with the desire to sin) Accepting God's forgiveness that He has been offering you all your life. Inviting God into your life to be saviour and Lord. It is a spiritual experience. Not mental or physical. In this your heart love Him and have a new life that you would be conscious of. You then have a new life in Christ. Understand?

You are born again/saved when you accept that you are a sinner, and you need a saviour. No matter how good we think we are, the bible says in Isaiah 64:6, our righteousness are filthy as rags. It also says in Roman 3:23 that for all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. So we all need a Saviour, and that Saviour is Jesus Christ. Romans 10:9 “ if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.” Jesus died so we can be reconciled with God, a holy God who can not accept sin, that’s why Jesus said Jesus said “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”- John 14:6. I hope this helps my Sister. Stay blessed ❤️❤️
