- MOISTURE = WATER - dry hair is more prone to breakage - spritz your hair/scalp with water regularly (ie every morning) - LCO/LOC method (leave in conditioner, cream, oil / leave in conditioner, oil, cream) - use heat protectant when blow drying and try to blow dry your hair less often - make sure the first ingredient in the shampoo you ant to buy is water because MOISTURE = WATER - protect your hair in the heat / in dry weather - drink lots of water - deep conitioner - protect your hair when youre going to sleep (use a scarf/bonnet)

I would like to say, grease has been my saving grace as a lazy natural, and so far I went from ear to chin to shoulder length in about a year, and from shoulder to bra strap length in a less than half of 6 months*! (I also keep my hair stretched since I have type 4a/b strands❤

Water only wash once weekly and pulling my natural oils down with a clarifying cleanse once monthly is what works for me. No other products wxcept every blue moon I may add an oil to my ends, but that's rare. I've always had an extremely itchy scalp and using any product to moisturize causes issues.

I loved it when she said, “….my hair was like: Send Help”. 🤣 YEESSSS!!! My hair has really grown since my big chop a year ago and I realize that I need to be even more concerned with providing moisture and deep conditioning to the FULL LENGTH of my strands. This requires (of course) more product and more TIME. But - This video was the “get it together and do it” that I needed. Going to subscribe….Now. Thank you for this video….So much!!! 🥰

One thing I learned about my 3c hair, never strip it so that you have to overload it with some products that damage hair and throws off sebum balance. My scalp would flake and hair would get brittle only when Im using a bunch of products. Products with too much fragrance and certain preservatives and alcohols have damaged my hair severely. These companies try sell smells and curl definition that come from synthetic chemicals found in gels, than actually develop only healthy nutrient rich oils and butters moisturizing products. Products should support improvement in your hair, not just when it has the product in it. I learned some products just coat for a desired stretch and hold, but unfortunately, when its out, your hair doesnt look so great. Healthy hair will look healthy and have elasticity on its own. When i got a short haircut, I only used moisturizing shampoo, no conditioner and a cream as a styler. I couldnt believe how bouncy and shiny my hair was. I looked more like a 3a-b in curl as well. Then I started trying all these products and now my hair feels like velcro and my ends actually grip together. When Ive used bleach, it was never this bad. I knew but I was quickly reminded that some products actually damage hair; less is more, check your ingredients, and clean hair is best for growth.

Just subscribed. I took your advice for my low porosity curly hair. I did a pre poo wash then hot oil treatment and then I deep conditioned. It took a while but well worth it! I did the LCO method and my curls were popping with shrinkage and looked moisturized and felt soft to touch and bouncy. I put it up in pineapple with satin scrub hue and wrapped with satin scarf and satin bonnet to keep the scarf in place. Also have satin pillowcase. Thanks for your much needed advice!!!

This came at the right time. I truly was about to give up on my natural hair. Im not sure what that means, but i was thinking relaxer, lace front, idk. I just put it up in a bun everyday. I literally have given up all hope. Its constantly dry everyday. I tried everything...but consistency. It was so easy when i did the big chop to keep it moisturized, but now with only shoulder length it is so difficult to maintain. Thanks sis for the words of encouragement in your video. I will try your tips and try to see if i can remain consistent ❤.

Thank you for the info, but it isn't clear to me how to use some of the info. Water-clear. Condotioner-clear. Aloe-are you only using the juice? Any benefits to outside? Are you adding this to the water, leave in, or a step in between? I have never seen this at a grocery or do I need to find a store like a TJoes? Honey-what step would this be added? If added to something what would/should be the ratio? Also if this is covered in another video, please share the link as I dont have the deep history. TIA as I look forward to learning.

I use as I am leave in conditioner and I rotate between deep conditioning. I use Shea moisture strengthen and restore treatment masque, 4c only Too thicke deep conditioner ( the lady who does my hair says my hair is not 4c, but I love it.) I always pre poo with an aloe vera plant, when I moisturieried it it's with aloe vera juice. I work in a cooler so I'm always wearing a hat with a silk cap under my hat. I still get those fairy knots sometime at my neck area.

So what products should we use because I seen that some of the products I been using have alcohol in it but the first thing is in the ingredients is water so should we stay away from it or are there some products that don’t have alcohol in it?

I agree with everything that you said except all hair that is shorter than the rest doesn't necessarily mean breakage, since our hair grows at various times and lengths. Therefore, the only way to have even hair is to trim. I'll keep it uneven until I reach my hair length goal 😊🎉

You’ll keep it uneven until you reach your goal length?? That is extremely stupid!! The longer you go with split ends the farther it will split up!! 😂😂😂😂

It has to do with genetics too! Your hair will grow with pink lotion 🤨or blue grease.

When you sprits it do you have to redo the oil and cream method?

No ! The water helps to activate products, you can add more products after a few days
