This is how it goes in Arab culture as well LITERALLY. I relate to every single word you've said. specially the " Queen" treatment thing but they would still practice violence and expect you to take care of his family and do all the house chores all by yourself.

I dated a kazack man for a couples of years. The connection and chemistry we had was magical, to me he was the love of my life. Looking after me, I felt like a queen. But he cheated on me multiples times, me always loyal to him, I never did…. Months after months I felt in prison I could not wear dress, makeup, go out with my friends, post pictures on Instagram, if I have one tiny interaction with a man on the street I am a slut. He was violent. I don’t understand I never cheated, I never flirted with anyone, I stayed loyal. But him he cheated multiples times and I can’t say any words about that. I am sure not every kazack man are like that, I don’t think I will ever date a kazack man anymore… what you say in your video is all true

This really doesn't sound like something I want, that's why I didn't marry a Russian like I am, I married someone foreign. I don't want to deal with the misogyny, I won't settle for someone who doesn't treat me as his equal. Especially the virginity thing is very outdated, virginity is just a concept. It doesn't matter. I wouldn't settle for someone who didn't also cook and clean and someone who doesn't expect kids too. It's very similar to kazakhstan in Russia as far as this culture. Also side note! Please don't ever let him hit you, if he does then you need to leave him right then. It's never okay to raise your hand to your girlfriend/wife

For those who say that kazakh girls are stupid for marrying kazakh men, I want to explain that if you are from traditional Southern family no one will ask for your opinion, girls are taught from the childhood that they should serve boys. Those girls sincerely believe that it’s the way it’s supposed to be. Your family and relatives won’t accept foreigner or even a man of different nationality. Moreover, we have no chance to go abroad and find ‘Western gentlemen’ or even ‘princes in shining armors who will never assault us’ with our pity salaries and broke families. Not everyone has opportunities to learn English or go abroad.

this may come from the older times. most of the girls were married to a man from other village and taken away from her family. that’s why we have two wedding ceremonies - one for bride’s side and one for groom’s side. bride’s wedding is called ‘kyz uzatu’, and it is practically a farewell, because in the past they never knew when they will see each other again. that’s why she is kind of slave in husband’s family, there’s nobody to protect her. her family is far away. nowadays women can actually visit their family all the time, but it depends ofc if guy’s family is good and understanding.

@@jinxbuymeacoke For "olden times" I can completely understand this way of life. It is how things were "back then"... However, I find it hard to see Salta give up her YT Channel, Close her business, cancel her Dating app so that she can become a "Good wife" and clean floors for her in-laws. Wash her husbands and in-laws underwear. Give up what she has to cook and clean for them. Make their breakfast at 5AM so husband, brother-in-law and father-in-law have food before they leave for work. It's such a drastic difference; Of course this works, it happens every day in Kazakhstan, but as a foreigner, this does seem extreme - Live in "Modern Times" but once married, you must give it up to live in "olden times".

That's quite depressing. Why would I give up on my family to serve his? Or be socially secluded? Or do all the housework by myself? I like guys who are gentlemen, and yes, there are differences between men and women, and some roles fit one or the other better. But from what you're saying, him proving he can take care of you is more about himself and his pride and image, not about you. However, I really like that family is valued. It is the cell of the society.

This s such a difference with modern general Chinese, Korean and Japanese cultures where it is a total matriarchate and total respect for women. I married a Cantonese girl in Canada, and it’s amazing how relationships in my Ukrainian parents are almost the same as Cantonese (Guanzhou / Hong Kong). Here men are for being strong (rather than aggressive-assertive), create a positive climate, organize free time, take care of more physically demanding jobs, cook rice, etc. Leaves me with all the time for career, gym, mountain travel, fishing etc. I have never been as physically stronger, healthier or happier as after partnership with a Chinese girl. Unfortunately, as in Egypt or Syria, this cultural arrangement will never allow a woman to be assertive in the near future. “Hitting” is criminal and it can’t happen.

In China, although some mother in laws are considered tiger moms and baby their sons, majority of the time women are the head of the household. Chinese men are manly on the outside but very submissive towards their wives, they will cook and clean and often get scolded by their wives 😂 women have the upper hand. at the same time, they financially take care of their wives. Women have it pretty good in China unless your husband is abusive.

I would say what you explain is basically expected from every men, his mother and his family literally anywhere in the world. Just the degree to which is expected is very different. I lived 4 years in south East Asia and many women think it’s the opposite in the western world while in reality it’s the same, just less extrem. In the end these women are happy that it is actually kind of similar in the west, because if not they would often feel worthless and without purpose. And like this they just feel happy that their live is easier. Often they are unhappy, because they enter a different culture with a very strange image of what that culture is like.

On my few trips to Kz, shared a lot with a big kz fam, I noticed that kazakh men are far too old-fashioned. Wait, I like old-fashioned but french/english style (who cares anyway). There, they are like cavemen and rude.. Ofc not all are like that, but most of men (from 25 years old to 60) I saw were like that. Youngers are more modern I think. It's okay, it's their culture and foreigners should not be judgmental. In the end, the only positive I see for the woman is that he takes care of everything financially and gives her stability (not emotional ^^).

Her perspective on dating Kazakh men and marriage is more or what, accurate. However, everyone forgets that the culture of Central Asia is different from that of the West. I am a Kazakh who grew up in Los Angeles all my life, so my perspective is much different. I speak Kazakh/Russian/English/Spanish/Mongolian and studied in the KZ countryside for my finals years of High School - so there goes your rebuttal about me being AMERICAN. Some of the things she said are so out of pocket: not cooking, not cleaning, basically emasculating men. Guess her generation of Kazakhs are like that .. Millenials. Another statement she brought up was how "Kazakh men will into fights because someone was hitting on their girl", I feel like this is something many men would do after assessing the situation. If someone was to disrespect my girlfriend and say some nasty things, then yes! I would get into a bloody fight! I guess millennials are so PC that you have to say thank you after someone disrespects you! In regards to spousal abuse, yes it occurs not just in Kazakhstan but around the world. Hence reports of domestic abuse in the US. Sad to see an "influencer" make a video about Kazakh men and basically "shit talk" about them. Would have been more interesting if you mentioned that many cultures are like this and so are most men around the world, rather than generalizing that this is specifically KAZAKH MEN!

I think she should be sent to 'survive' Latin men!!!! Or God forbid, Arab men! But Jokes aside I can see she has a very one-dimentional view of "What men are... EVERYWHERE in the world"! Men are the product of their families' ideologies, generalization is never good. They'll be gentlemen if their parents raised them to behave that way. And that has ZERO to do with their racial/ethnic background (Among Latin and Arab men, I've met the nicest most respectful gentlemen) And I married a 'white collar' american that slapped me because I dared to express my dissatisfaction about the fact that he rode his bike in the city while being mildly intoxicated (I Divorced him immediately) I live in NY and all I can tell you is that she probably thinks white men are better BC they order food for her and don't even dare to count on their partner to help them a little, so I would say she and her future husband will probably eat at restaurants & get food delivered every night because God knows that's what's right according to people like this one in the video. Here in the US domestic violence is so prevalent even in the upper middle class college educated groups (Regardless of race or Background) so I don't know what she's talking about. She should just say she's loves 'whipped hipsters from Brooklyn' (Where I'm writing from, so I know what I'm talking about)
