Welcome to the weekly vlog.
This week we share a little insight into what it’s like to live on a boat in 2024.
weeks live on a 70ft Aqualine Canterbury, its a luxury Wide Beam Boat which is moored at Mercia Marina, the marina is the largest inland marina in Europe, we are residential moorers and have been for four years, we love the place.
We also take you around the marina which is also a nature reserve with some rather lovely lodges which you can book to stay in and also buy as a holiday home, they start from around £235,000!

Hi’ya, Mr B, Mrs B, & Kenneth, last Saturday 9th March I decided to Stop at the services near to Mercia and get a brew and hopefully see all three of you, and I couldn’t believe my luck i walk out of the petrol station and who was in the disco but Mr B 😮, I have to say I was a bit star struck and hesitant couldn’t believe I’d seen Mr B, anyway I was that slow I missed Mr B, he drove off, 😂 any way Mr B & Mrs B, Kenneth if there is ever a 44 ton truck flashing its lights and blowing its horn don’t panic it’s only me a fan of the channel. OMG!!!!! Mr B just shouted from bedroom that you should have stopped and said hi, he would have treated you to a costa from his favourite machine at the services (god he lives the high life!!!!!. Good job I wasn’t there because i would have jumped on you😊. Next time sir and we shall keep an eye open for a 44 toner flashing! Mrs B xx

We enjoyed Sunday's day in the life sort of vlog. We always look out for you when we visit Broadway! Family nearby so we go quite alot. Went to your favourite pub there a few weeks ago! Love to Kenneth....and you two of course. 😊😊

Ohhh I noticed the bee hives on the map when I visited! I would love to be on the bee team when I move in. Looks like a pretty perfect life to me. I’ll let you know when I next visit xx

Enjoyed your vlog very much lived on our narrowboat for many years in Nottingham. Mercia is a great marina visit often for Midlands Chandlers, waiting for more vlogs thank you very much

Awww…makes me remember our little tour around Mercia with you, Wendy. (Sigh). It is really a lovely Marina. Glad the bees are good. We are in the middle of an historic snow storm. Upwards of 2 feet and more to come. Ah…Colorado.

Please please please do not use any acidic cleaners Mr and Mrs B on marble/ stone surfaces as porous…I almost cried when I saw the barkeepers friend mentioned 😢 have worked with marble over 25 years plus on superyachts , I was taught by a old Italian marble restorer hot soapy (ph ) balanced water to clean and then dry and buff …we then use Goddards marble and stone polish…be prepared for serious elbow action 🥵 but I have to say we only use this on tables not floors 🤷‍♀️ might be a tad too slippy🤷‍♀️good luck 🌻

Another great vlog, hope Kenneth's foot is better. Is there a LONG waiting list for residential moorings at Mercia? Are the "sheds" big enough/ allowed , to house a motorbike? Thanks.

My only observation is, Mrs B's audio is way to low, hardly heard any of what she said. I use headphones off the laptop. through inline Amplifier. continue to enjoy Mercia. but sorry to hear that it may end next year.
