Hi Gail, many thanks for the wonderful comments and subscription, very much appreciated. We absolutely love our boat and yes the extra space was what we wanted when we moved from the narrow boat. We have just started to look at motor homes, camper vans and caravans! All look wonderful and we could see ourselves in either one, we just need to save a little more money as we didn’t realise just how expensive they all are!!! A 70ft widebeam will of course be able to navigate the cut BUT not alot and 2we would much prefer to hire a barrow boat and not have the stress of ours out there! Xxx

@MakingNewMemories yes, our boat was the same. We went o e with ter trying to keep it warm via the diesel conversation but it simply couldn't keep a widebeam warm. That's why the stove was converted back and for a little bit of dust the payback is simply amazing! Proper stove all day for us. Thanks for the informative post. Mrs B xxx
