@@Ameng3471 youre saying this bcuz u dont know the situation from a local perspective 😅 even though malaysia is known as a muslim majority country doesn’t mean u can advocate everyone to migrate to malaysia simply because they are “muslim”. Bcuz we dont want the non muslim malaysian to feel like the malaysian muslims prioritizes muslim foreigners over them. To be honest a lot of the non muslim here feel like they are second class citizens and we’re trying to harmonize the internal racial issue that is going on.

@mfnazir

@@maynazpurnell2285 Thailand the currency conversion is in your favor compared to Malaysia given that you will have British Pounds. However, in Malaysia property is cheaper than in Thailand. Malaysia is predominantly Muslim so access to Masjid, halal food options, Muslim environment is more so than Thailand. Though in Thailand you can find halal food, masjid, and Muslim community but its not comparable to Malaysia. It also depends on your situation, if your income will allow you to be remote then a smaller city in south Thailand where there is a lot of Muslims might be better in terms of being cheap, but if you want to live in a big Muslim City then Malaysia might be better. Phuket, Krabi or even Surat Thani area might be good in the south compared to Bangkok. In Malaysia off course KL, malaca, penang, or Johar Bahru will be good options to explore.

Your favourite breakfast that you mentioned is called roti telur, if without the egg then it is called roti canai. Basically roti canai is the root of all the other types of rotis such as roti telur (egg), roti sardine, roti pisang (banana), roti bawang (onion) etc.

Its wasn’t a donkey guys, coz we dont have donkeys in Malaysia. IT was probably a poorly cooked beef and IT was really unfortunate for you guys having to be served with that meal at that Langkawi hotel! Just believe in fate and destiny and that the Hijrah that you are about to perform moving from Canada to Malaysia. As soon as your travel documents and your Papers for the Malaysian naturizaltion are in order, you are all set and ready and most cordially welcomed to live in Malaysia. Nobody has the right to say no to you! BTw, you might want to check out the vlogs by This KZfaqr by the name of SAIRA HAYATI. 13:30 I'm positive you were talking about roti canai. Fun fact - there are many versions/types of roti canai, from savory to sweet. The classic roti canai, roti telur (with egg), roti telur bawang (with egg and onion), roti cheese, roti sardine, roti pisang (with banana and some condensed milk), roti milo (with milo choc malt powder and condensed milk - childrens all time fav), and there's a new trend that wrnt viral a few years back - roti sarang burung (bird's nest roti) where they basicall cut a whole in the middle of the roti and craacked a sunny side up egg in the middle. Some places, the used half-boiled eggs / egg benedict instead. So yeah, we take our roti canai seriously. Maybe one day if you came back, you can do a vlog of you experiencing different kind of rotis and rate them 😁.

13:35 did you guys mean roti telur? That's basically roti canai mixed/filled with egg. Or you could also mean roti sarang burung - this one's slightly special as the eggs are not mixed/scrambled in the roti canai, but instead remain half cooked nestled (hence the sarang burung name) on top of the roti canai.

I can't thank you both enough for the information that you have offered. My wife and I are both very interested in moving to Malaysia, and we can both sympathize with many of your conversational points. The seasonal depression hits me even here in the South West of the U.S.A. Simply being able to walk around and enjoy the day seems so beautiful. My wife and I will both be visiting Penang and KL next March, scouting the locations and seeing if they will be good places for us to live. Might you have any advice that isn't really oriented towards tourists but rather things to look out for or understand as a potential resident?

Even as a Malaysian, I prefer lighter breakfast. Roti tampal/Stick bread (pratha slapped on an egg) is my favourite. I prefer the egg not being fully cooked though. I love nature but the campsites are getting a bit crowded and not to mention the famous rivers within Selangor are at times not that clean unfortunately. Going beyond Selangor or somewhere further from cities is worth it though. Nevertheless, I always love it when hearing Muslims from other countries planning to move into Malaysia.

@val80156
@val80156 2 ай бұрын
Thank you for asking. There is a period of the day when we can pray each of fife obligatory prayers. For example, the morning prayer (Fajr) can be performed from the very early break of morning until the sunrise. The time will depend on your location as the time of sunrise differ. It is best to preform rituals prayers (namaz) at the beginning of the designated time (that is when athan, a call for prayer, is heard from the mosques). There are also non-ritual prayers (duas), when you plain ask God for whatever you want in your own language. Those can be done whenever you feel like. You are always welcome to ask any Muslim! There are no bad or insulting questions, as long as insult is not intended. Even then we must answer politely. 😊

@@MadMadamGrimmthere are 5 compulsory prayers but to a non Muslim they’re more like 5 compulsory worships. And then what is called “dua” is a prayer in which you can do at anytime and in any state and just talk to god or ask what you need, etc. Dua is more closely aligned to what people would call regular prayer in other faiths.

If you have the wealth to bounce around between Dubai Canada and Malaysia and according to your videos you do, plane fare for a family of five is no laughing matter just apply for the Malaysia as a 2nd home program or tell us if that is in progress?

Hi guys, I live in Scotland (was born here too). I’m pale skinned and freckled so I CANNOT stand the heat 🥵 I’m definitely one of those that prefer colder months but I totally agree about the vitamin D deficiency. If i could, I’d spend my summers in Antarctica lol so I completely sympathise with you not enjoying the colder conditions in Canada, literally polar opposites. Xx

While you’re in that part of the world Sana you should take your family to Pakistan so your kids can see where they’re from and see any relatives if you have any there! Having your kids experience their ethnic countries I feel like to me is extremely important in helping them really connect with the culture. And then one day after visiting Pakistan you should take them to England, Ireland, Finland, Spain, and Portugal to see Will’s four-five ethnic countries (Idk if he’s Spanish, Portuguese, or both so I said 4-5 countries) :)

Which part of KL would you recommend an ex-pat Moslem from the West settling? Where there are like minded expats such as yourselves? Is the new MM2H visa now up and running and what’s the best way to apply for it? Thank you in advance.

ASA. You two mentioned mental clarity. I think the woke culture and the social division in the west bothers me the most right now. Almost all of the people I watch mention the social harmony and how nice people are in Malaysia. Also the fruits and vegetables here are all GMO, unless you pay a premium for "organic." 20 years ago everything ORGANIC. Thanks for your video.

Thanks for sharing about GMO..not quite sure how many percentage fruits & vegetables here were GMO products. So far M’sia only mentioned total of 14 GM for maze/ corn & soybean (used for food, feed & processing purposes) but we should concern more about pesticides, fertilizers (for plants) & feeds (for animal consumption). Any soybean & corn products from US should be avoided ofc.. perhaps the best answer is to produce locally (organic) with restriction on any GMO materials 😢
