The lack of compensation sucks for the under grad degree in exercise science and kiniesiology. Only good job out there is therapy aide. And maybe clinical exercise physiologist

If I want to move forward with my BS degree would this be a good master's degree to have to boost my GPA and get into the DPT program afterward? I have a low GPA and retaking classes costs a lot of money so if I was going to spend money might as well look into a master's degree in something.

Whats up bro. Hope you are doing well. I'm planning to major in Kinesiology in college and wanted to ask you if I also learn things such as nutrition on there. Because I'm planning to sort of be an athletic trainer. And I'm assuming that exercise science is also included. I would be really thankful for a reply!

Possibly. Depends on what classes your school includes in the kines major. Some school may include nutrition some may not

I am thinking of either doing a psychology degree and becoming a counselling psychologist, or taking a kinesiology degree and becoming a physiotherapist. What do y’all recommend?

This Degree is a waste of time it is a shortcut to avoid Math to say you got a “bachelor degree”, this degree is like a certificate

I believe you need to get an education degree and or major in physical education

So to get this straight, for a sports medicine physician, first I need to get a degree in kinesiology, and then I have to go to medical school. Is that correct?

You have to go to medical school to be a sports med physician But you don’t need a kinesiology degree. You can get an undergraduate degree in almost anything to go to med school you don’t need a B.S. in Kines

Hey there, please please answer this. I am an international student and I just got accepted to one of the best unis with kinesiology and exercise science major....will it get me a job that can pay fair enough and get me a working visa too? Ana am also thinking of studying PTA masters after that, is it a good choice money wise?

Depends what country and if your curriculum is accepted in the US. If not you will have to do additional schooling in the US to be a licensed PT or PTA.

@@cherophobic3263 in that case, you'd get your bachelors degree at that U.S. college --> go to physical therapy school in the U.S. --> Take your U.S. board exam --> Apply for a job as a physical therapist. The job you apply for will give you more information as to whether they will give you a working visa or not.

You need to check for work requirements. You’re typically not allowed to work with a student visa outside of campus.

Hello Sir, I'm a Junior at East Texas Baptist University and I'm Majoring in the field of Kinesiology Wellness-Management and Minoring in Psychology. With a grade point average around the range of 3.4 or 3.5 and also completing the prerequisites, could I possibly get in a PT school for DPT?

Hey man, this was a great video! Very informative. I have my bachelors in kinesiology: allied health. I struggle to find a job with this degree and now I am a truck driver. Right after getting my degree I became a PT aid which was minimum wage and I just couldn’t do that since I have a family. Is there any jobs that you can help me out with,? I am not looking to get my masters currently am interested in the near future ones raising a little money. Thank you so much in advance!

I recommend starting out by researching the job ideas i mentioned that do not require a masters degree.

PT aide is a job students do while in college, not for a career. Cardiac rehab pays well, but you need experience.

A minor needs to be completed with a major in order to graduate college. So talk with you academic advisor to set you up with a major. Any major can work to get you into PT school. So a major like communications or health sciences are easy choices.
