We wanted to put assumptions to the test to see what we're missing out on because we're so busy assuming we already "know" a person. Join us as we discover why you should never judge a book by it’s cover in our series, Reverse Assumptions.
We are all conditioned with certain biases. In this experiment, we challenged these biases by asking people to make assumptions about their partner's appearance without ever actually seeing their partner. When they flipped around to finally face each other, they were shocked by how wrong they were.

I'm not a girl but I do regret not having a relationship as a teenager. At the time I thought it was stupid/unnecessary/asking for trouble/not what it's cracked up to be/etc. But as I grew older I realized that it's actually useful to get that experience at a young age and be able to learn from it. Now when I look back at my first relationship, I'm pretty embarrassed at how bad I was at it despite being 21 years old at the time. Depending on the kind of person you are, waiting until later will just make it way more difficult to get the ball rolling. So my lesson is - don't always assume that you're not going to regret waiting until later to do something.

I think that it can be a bit embarrassing when you are naturally acting a bit older and you look older than your actual age. And someone asks you about your age and assumes that you are like 20 and you have to say that you are 14. You know it feels a bit off. I just feel that it would be easier to live in a society that doesn't look at the age.

800 kids per year level!? omg thats crazy... in year 12 i had small classes between 3-5 people with only 20 kids in each grade

Imogen was it a private school? Just wondering because maybe that’s why. 3-5 kids in a classroom is extremely small. I think the average amount is probably 18 or more (but nothing over 30 cause that’s too much lol)

Yeah was going to say private school. I went to private elementary and it was 20 students per grade. High school is more of course, college is way more, and then grad school decreases. We have 53 students. Some only have 20 students. Just googled it and it’s probably an average of 300 students in a grade.

When I was a teen it would also piss me off that we didnt learn anything about life as taxes or had maths. Now being mid 20s (& forgetting what age I am lol) I would not thing as that anymore. It is fun to learn about taxes etc as life comes to that point. Dont stress about it now and enjoy your time. In school you learn so much general knowledge that will be so helpful through all your life.

for people saying the girl that's *1/2 Arab & 1/2 Spanish* can't be only that or can't take her looks from her Arab side, being *Syrian/Lebanese/Palestinian/Jordanian* ( *Levantine* ) means you can be *naturally blonde and/or fair skinned* and it's very common. I myself am 100% Syrian and I have naturally blonde curly hair, blue eyes and fair skin.
