@@corona8099shaving minutes off a 22 mile drive in the city. To give perspective; driving in a car swerving through traffic and going as fast as possible during rush hour traffic (which it looked like he was in) you won’t be able to shave minutes off. If you’re lucky max 1-2 minutes. Being in his motorcycle and being able to not have to stop in traffic since he can split lanes prolly a minute a mile when he wasn’t driving fast. So 22 minutes on the safe side, then you have him ripping it up back and splitting cars while maintaining high speed, he prolly did less than 30 seconds a mile. So less than 11 minute drive during rush hour. I live in the same city as him and a 22 mile drive is 35 minutes when there is no traffic

I'm 53. Did this through late '80s and '90s. Lots of wheelies, frequent chases. Never caught. Easy & fun, right? I'd still be called an aggressive driver by most. This made me cringe and think about how lucky I am to have all my parts, all working. You are smooth, and seem to have good instincts about what other drivers will do, but were still often committed to a certain line which could be closed by one dumb driver realizing they are about to miss their exit. At 180...264 feet per second..a driver, even one attempting to be attentive (which seems to be rare), could "know" they had just visually verified that the path to dart to the exit is clear, then...body parts everywhere. I never liked lanesplitting much, limited my high speed fun to two lane backroads. Twisty ones in abundance around here. But even in twisties, 120 from corner to corner is easy...past all those driveways with people pulling out, trying to not spill their coffee. I avoided some crashes by high speed off road excursions on sport bikes. Most memorable was going through a few yards after blowing a corner on a 1986 VF1000R. Look that up- the "-R" is pretty rare. I was a Honda mechanic and was on a test ride. Not at all meant for being sideways on grass. The missed corner was a right hander, so this meant I also crossed the oncoming traffic. (None present) At the time, I thought I was pretty good for not crashing it. I think now the outcome was a great deal of luck, a little skill. That crap happened often. Tankslapper jumping railroad tracks on a sport bike? Yeah...I'm so cool. Goldwings can do wheelies? Yup. You are still in the "it's all me, brah!" stage. I hope you make it through intact. Keep in mind that some not-so-good people are going to be encouraged to do the same crap. KZfaq is bad this way. My stories were probably thought to be exaggerations by some people. Here is proof, for you.

62 next month and own a ZX14R. My best friend hit me head on with his truck when I was a senior in high school riding my 550 Honda. Idiot swerved into my lane trying to scare me when he saw me coming down the road. Both of us running about 55 mph = times 2 = 110 mph. Totaled both vehicles and knocked me out (no helmet) crushed my leg and I was on crutches with a black leg (I’m white) and also had to have plastic surgery on my face. I went over the truck and almost went through a barb wire fence. I don’t trust other drivers. I do my fast riding on open backroads. Safer and less cops.

I live in the same area and have seen your signature Gixxer a couple of times. I think you're crazy, but I support you doing you. And in doing that, I don't have any other "but you're doing xyz, which I don't support," stances. The truth is that I'm over here with a screaming pulse rate watching you maneuver through traffic. Bruh, you do things I can't even imagine, and yet I keep watching. 😅 You're a talented, skilled dude with an awesome, relatable personality and I watch everything you post. However, when you go more than a few days without posting, I won't lie...I'm searching the local news for motorcycle wrecks. Admittedly, it's not as often as when I first found your channel, but damn...you keep the pucker factor at 10+. 😂 I love your channel and hope to fist bump you one day at a light. The formula you have is special, and has lots of potential over time. I hope you get to see/realize this. Much love on what you do, and I look forward to every upload. Take care Bruh!

If the stock '05 GSXR fuel tank is 4.2 gallons at 18mpg, that means you have 76 miles of range. Say you were pinned at 180mph the entire time, you'd run out of fuel in 25 minutes. Not a realistic scenario but fun to figure out

Here's the interesting thing about this: I did a series of fuel efficiency tests many years ago on a 125cc scooter and found there was a surprisingly simple yet accurate way of guessing how much fuel a bike will use based on how fast it is going. Bear in mind, I only tested from 20 mph to 60 mph increments of 10 mph. From my experiments, fuel consumption was linearly proportional to speed. That is, 10% faster = 10% more fuel consumption per mile. This sounds way too simple and doesn't even match the basic math you might expect based on the relationship between resistance and speed. Even so, every single test I performed demonstrated that this was the case. Even more surprisingly, your results also fit this rule of thumb. If you averaged 70 mph and used 0.7 gallons and the 120 mph and used 1.2 gallons you can see the fuel consumption is fitting the linear model just as in my tests with scooters going 20 to 60 mph. I am even more surprised your fuel consumption is still increasing linearly at those speeds instead of exponentially because air resistance is such a big factor at high speeds and mathematically speaking air resistance increases exponentially as you go faster. Even so, your results appear to be linear just as in my tests.
