Oprah lost a lot of respect in that 'interview' and continues to lose respect - because she refuses to acknowledge her own lack of due diligence - that was NOT an 'interview'. O sat there looking 'shocked' at what she was hearing - yet couldn't manage to ask any questions. She has ruined her reputation (IMO).

*OPRAH was too eager to start a Race War with the Royal Family and the UK to be concerned with Fairness, Facts & TRUTH. She did not conduct herself like a serious journalist. She was Unprofessional, Unethical & Underhanded. She purposely altered British headlines to make them seem racist. She was still angry that she never got the interview with Diana, and settled for the one son that was Vicious & Malicious enough to trash, slander and falsely accuse his family. He was dirty enough to milk his mothers memory for Attention, Sympathy and CASH. And he was traitorous enough to Betray his Country, after they supported & loved him from the day he was born, only to be called 'Racist, Toxic, Outdated, and Backwards'. Oprah knew things didn't add up. Oprah knew that MEghan was wearing a fake moonbump during that interview. But she proceeded with the damage anyways. She knew EXACTLY what they were going to say, and she saw over eighteen LIES be completely debunked in the following days, and she said nothing other than "It was their truth. I didn't know what they were going to say".*

The sad thing is that the Archbishop of Canterbury had to actually make a statement to confirm that he did not marry H&M 3 days before. Even though he was hundreds of miles away at the time. The AoC would have been in serious trouble if that had happened. You need a very good memory if you're going to lie ❤🇬🇧

We have a liar like this in our family. They lie for absolutely no reason at all. When someone challenges her, she just shrugs. Some are really big hurtful lies and some are simple bizarre lies. I noticed that Oprah looked to Harry to confirm what Meghan had just said, and he wouldn't look at her. That's why he was suddenly so interested in the chickens. People love to point out to me that he confirmed it later when he sang "Just the three of us." Yeah, that's nice, but if it had been true, he would have been able to look Oprah in the eye when Meghan first mentioned it. He was blindsided by the lie and needed time to think about what he was going to do. He gave a half-a$$ed confirmation to keep the peace. He sang a song, and never outright confirmed her story.

At the time there was still quite a lot of anger in the UK about how much money had been spent on their wedding, only for them to slip off to America after completing only 72 public engagements. It was pretty obvious that Meghan was trying to give the impression that the big wedding was forced on them against their will so that people would stop calling for them to pay taxpayers back. In that sense it worked - after that, people were so busy triumphantly pointing to proof of her lying and total lack of grace or gratitude that they forgot to ask her for the money back. We started laughing at her and disbelieving her instead of being angry with her, and that devastating loss of credibility probably cost her a heck of a lot more in the long run. Oh well!

She knew he was nervous and worried so she told him - we're already married .. this is all theatre for the public. Nothing to worry about ! Your phraseology is so hilarious! "You don't need to be crossing and uncrossing your legs, and risking some kind of a tragedy for the audience members." I love it! Oh, and Meghan has an absolute MANIA for secrecy, to the point that she makes up secrets if she doesn't have any real ones. She wasn't *married* in the back garden by the Archbishop of Canterbury 4 days before the public wedding. God knows just what happened that day - I thought it was probably a simple blessing, but later people said that she was actually baptized in advance of the wedding, so maybe she crammed some sort of special significance into the incident and now figures that since they were married in their hearts, that now counts as the reality. Anyway, she just loves to play "I've got a SECRET!" to rmanufacture drama into her meaningless life and remind people of their outsider status.

@@QueenBabylonnia It's all very mysterious. Even if she had never been baptized, the Church of England's rules are so lax, she still could have married Harry in a church. It's only necessary for ONE of the participants to be baptized, not both. (If she wanted to take Communion after, she would have to be baptized.) Maybe she wasn't baptized as a child, perhaps Thomas and Doria didn't think it was important, but it's a bit out of the ordinary for the 1980s, espeically as they went on to educate her at a Catholic school. You'd think this issue would have come up before this moment. I think she WAS baptized, but she wanted to create some drama so she said that she wasn't sure, or there might have been some irregularity, so she was provisionally baptized by the Archbishop of C. It would be in character for her to want to create some exciting mystery about her past.

They knew they would have protection if they had remained.. I believe they were told in the pre-exit discussions that they would no longer be entitled if they left. That battle is unfortunately still going on in the courts here. Harry has been denied paying/hiring the MET Police himself but he is still pursuing that he is entitled to protection anyway. We, the taxpayer would then be funding the despicable pair.

According to Tome Bower, she was weird about her marriage to Trevor too, she had a civil marriage first, then a three-day celebration in Jamaica. She confiscated all the videos and photos, so only her father's (which he took secretly) remained---who does that? why all the skulduggery about her marriage to Trevor if she meant it to last a lifetime? It seems even then her motives weren't honourable
