@UnitTracethis is a group of people, one being the narrator, some others doing other stuff like finding good questions with good answers and video editors, and they dont upload these when they feel like it, they schedule them, in this case the video was scheduled but someone could have forgotten to post this comment, this is actually pretty common on this channel

Back in 6th grade, I was walking to the bathroom in school, i made it in and slipped. I thought nothing of it until i figured out that my thumb on my right hand could do a 360. i went to the doctor and almost half of the bones in my thumb were broken.

Back in '13 I was a truck driver and I need to get an eye exam to re-up my medical certification. I was also have a little trouble reading and I just figured I need a set of glasses. Most people in my family need them and i just figured it was my turn. Well it turns out my eyes were perfectly fine... but the optometrist discovered that I had some serious neurological issues that were causing my reading issues. Long story short, I had developed an orange sized brain tumor in my temporal lobe. I had never realized I was having issues because the thing had grown in a place that kept me from noticing it until it finally stared to impair my ability to read. Lucky the tumor was not malignant and it was able to be surgically removed.

I was diagnosed with major depressive disorder at 16. A few years later the meds quit working and I kept coasting convincing myself I was fine because I was still getting up in the morning. One night it's the middle of the night and I open google to figure out which of the medications in the house I could actually OD on. I count myself lucky that I still had the wherewithall to realize what I was doing and get myself back to the psychiatrist.

I had weird dizzying sensations whenever I would eat any amount of sweets, as well as the occasional tingly digits, plus I had a weight problem. I was hesitant to go see my doctor because I was afraid of what he’d say. My doctor’s office actually calls me up and I take it as a sign to get a blood test. The result: I was pre-diabetic. After processing it for about a week, I took up a new routine, learned to substitute some foods around , lowered my A1C, and lost 30 lbs. I feel much better now.

One time i thought i had really bad bronchitis and NOPE. I was going congestive heart failure resulting in severe occlusion of both lungs and end-of-stage renal failure. This caused a nightmarish level of hypertension resulting in retinopathy.

I've had medical and health issues practically out of the womb; Chickenpox at nine months old, asthma at two years, weekly laryngitis, monthly bronchitis, upper respiratory infections at least four times a year, and I still had to go to school through all of it, no exceptions. To fit this prompt, though, when I was about six or seven, I noticed a rattling in the back of my throat, like I was trying to cough something up but it had gotten stuck. I, sadly, was already used to being sick all the time, so I didn't even mention it to my mother, who was similarly jaded. Some time later, I can't remember the actual time frame, I started noticing that it was painful to swallow anything that wasn't water or juice. Again, I brushed it off, thinking I just had a sore throat again so I got the throat spray, spritzed the back of my throat, and carried on. In the middle of the night even later than that, I woke up, unable to breathe because my tonsils had swollen to the point that they were blocking my airways. The only way I could get to my mother was to crawl to her bedroom door and pound on it because I couldn't get the breath to scream. She later told me that I was starting to turn blue due to lack of oxygen - because at this point I think I was losing consciousness - and she had to reach into my mouth to shove one of the tonsils to the side so that I could breathe. One emergency surgery at 2am and a few hours of recovery later, I woke up with an IV and a mini freezer full of ice cream, which I'm pretty sure I ate half of it.

I have many stories to share... toothache while I had covid so I spent 21 days waiting, kidney stones and the one that I almost died back in late 2000's... My leg was kinda looking like a balloon... I went to hospital to check and the first lazyass doctor said it was a luxation and gave me some antiinflamatory... at first, meh... so I'll be fine, took the medicines, it got a bit better but then two days later, it got way WORSE... and I was rushed to another hospital... the medic this time were horrorized and told me I'd need an urgent surgery... turns out, it were a pseudo-aneurism and I almost died because the first doctor were a lazyass moron. (Yea, I also almost died in the surgery table... 18 litters of blood and like 16 hours of surgery or something...) (funny thing: I don't know why this leg has some weird responses to touch... I get small random shocks if I touch it below the surgery part till close to my feet. lol)

I had abdominal pain for a few months and one day I started vomiting blood and couldn’t eat for 3 weeks. It was a tumor the size of a softball by the time it was caught. The first hospital didn’t take me seriously, second hospital warned me it needed removed because it could become cancer. I still get occasional tests to check for tumors. I lost the organ it was attached to because of the size and risk of it coming back

I had a similar experience to the kayak one, except for It wasn't learning to kayak, just swimming in a river. I was walking into the water (barefoot) and then I stepped on something, it didn't hurt the worst. My sister was with me and I told her we had to go home. She told me to just let it stay in the water but it hurt when it would hit the water. So I put my other shoe on, grabbed the shoe for the foot I cut, and limped home. At first I thought it wasn't bleeding the worst but when i went to clean my foot there was blood everywhere. By the time i cleaned it it was done bleeding, LARGE cut in my foot, next day it was infected. Though I did have a successful recovery without going to the ER luckily. This happened a little over 3 years ago when I was 11. Edit: And that isn't the only one either. From vomiting a lot as a very young kid, to it happening again, to the thing i said above, to severe asthma-like sympthoms, plus MORE. I've been through quite a bit, how tf am I alive-

I think it was last year or two years ago, I brushed my teeth with the wrong toothbrush. I have soft enamel and I didn't know any better and brushed with a hard bristle tooth brush. At first, it was pain in my gums and I just figured it was a bit sore. Cue my face and left eye being swollen, pain like nothing before, I couldn't eat, I couldn't drink, I was downing pain pills like candy and couldn't sleep well. I brushed plague up my gums and now there was an abscess on a nerve and I was given medication at the ER that made me nauseous and was told I had to wait, but I had special pain meds. Everyone, make sure your toothbrush is good for your teeth. If you don't, you'll end up in the ER

A couple years ago, I went on an old and suspicious rollercoaster. The rollercoaster wasn’t large but it was very bumpy. I was bumped out of my seat just to be slammed down, and that was enough to permanently break my tailbone (I have weak freaking bones ig). I didn’t realize right away, I actually continued on and went on more rides. When I was getting ready for bed, I noticed that it was incredibly painful to sit down or stand up. I told my parents about it, but they said I was probably just sore. A day later, it was really bad and I went to the hospital. Turns out that the end of my tailbone broke off and floated away. To this day (over two years later), it has never healed and I literally have a shard of bone just floating around in my ass. I have chronic pain, luckily it’s gotten a little better but some things can still trigger it to become really bad. Apparently doctors can’t do much to treat it, so I’ll possibly have this issue on my deathbed. The cherry on top is that I never could’ve sued because I don’t have any concrete proof that it happened at the park I went to (and I’m not American lol, it would’ve been harder to do anyway). I’m slowly getting into exercise again, and perhaps someday I’ll be able to do everything I used to do

even though I didn't seek medical attention on my own nor really would've had I not had to have a doctor's note for school, I figured I might mention my own story. one night when I was fourteen my mother and I came home. I was going 'huh this food tastes a bit funny and I feel sick' as I had my dinner, thought little of it, and then went and had a bath as I usually did. whilst I was in the bath my head started spinning. because I wasn't feeling well I was in the bath for a while and decided to top up the bath with some more hot water, and whilst I was letting my head spin after moving I leant back into the tap so that straight hot water was pouring onto me and I could feel nothing. I was barely aware there was even water flowing onto me, and I wasn't really aware of the rest of my body. there was this incredible pain in my neck happening too, but I was only half aware of it, like when you leave your hand on a bit of hot metal and it takes you a moment to realise. I struggled to get out of the bath, struggled to dry off and change, and got into bed with a bucket. I then threw up. I spent the next fortnight in some state between 'cannot even move without head spinning so much I want to puke' to 'I can walk around and act normally so long as my head is kept straight and we don't go around corners too much in the car'. my doctor wasn't able to say what caused this other than a virus, and it left me with a form of nerve damage (causing the spinning) and now on occasion I have episodes of vertigo so bad I can't really do anything, but it's so infrequent idc

OK if you see this, the guy that said you’re hearing start out my phone and now you lost hearing in your ear two questions one did you ever figure out what it was? And did you have pain when it happened? Because something very similar happened to me outside of the nausea so I did not get nauseous but outside of that the same thing happened. I know many different things can cause it, but I was just curious.
