Try mo palitan ng drum brakes harapan ng sasakyan mo tapos comment ka ulit dito kumusta performance. Kaya nga sa mga TOTL models ng mga sasakyan eh puro disc brakes kasi alam nilang mas efficient and reliable. Anong brakes meron sa Triton Athlete, diba disc brakes lahat? Mahal kasi ang disc brakes kaya sa TOTL models lang nila nilalagay kasi yun din pinaka mahal sa lineup.

Eto na siguro ang isa sa mga nonsense comparison na nakikita ko sa mga nanonood ng car review, etong drums vs disc. It doesn't matter if drums or disc yan, both will give you that stopping power. Kaya lang naman mas pinipili ng manufacturers yang disc brakes is likely because of cost cutting. Drums are more expensive to produce kasi madaming moving parts. Isa pa diyan mas maganda lang heat dissipation ng disc at mas madali i-service. Pero in terms of function, same lang naman yan. Disc brakes will only outperform a drum brake if your disc brake assembly have high quality materials, and when I say high quality, tipong mga ceramic rotors like the one installed on cars like Porsche, Ferrari, etc. Dahil bukod sa magaan, maganda din ang cooling performance. Pero kung pang daily daily lang, it doesn't matter if drums or disc yan, both will serve its purpose and that is to stop the car.

@@ajocorona nonesense din comparison mo. Disc brakes are more expensive than a drum brake. San mo nakuha yang mas mahal ang drum brakes? May advantage and disadvantage ang dalawa. Disc brakes are better, mas malakas braking force with less pressure applied. Ang advantage lng ng drum brake is pang parking, when you engage handbrake or park lever, ang drum brakes ang kumakapit. If yang sinasabi mong same lng performance ng drum at disc, lagyan mo front wheel mo ng drum, bumaba ka ng inclined roads, yung mga 20-30mins na puro ka apak sa brake, pagbaba mo sobrang init nyan at minsan di na kakapit brakes pag nakababad ka sa brakes pababa. Unlike sa disc brakes walang problema. Kung sinasabi mo din na same performance yan, di sana lahat ng brands naka drums pati front wheel kasi nga mas mura kesa disc, pero hindi diba, kasi alam nila mas safe and effective disc brakes for stopping your vehicle.

2 things that i chose triton over ranger. #1 mahal maintenance ng ford. 2 mas malakas and reliable and durable ang makina ni triton over your ranger. Hindi naman po ganun ka importante ang ibang techs. At may #3 pa mas matipid sa diesel si strada/triton. Ford engines uhaw lagi sa gas/diesel 😅

@@urigonora1161 1. If may Triton ka you would know na same halos price ang PMS ni Ford and Mitsubishi casa to casa. 2. Yes, mas malakas ang 2.4L vs 2.0 obvious naman yun. Pero, yung sabihin mong hindi importante ibang tech, para mong sinabi na di mo kelangan ng iOS/Android phone at okay kana sa keypad kasi same lang na nakakatawag. 3. I disagree, naturally mas malakas consume ng bigger displacement engines. I think on the hiway ang Triton is 16km/L, sa Ranger naman umaabot din ng ganun sa hiway 16-17km/L. Now kung sa traffic and stand still, wala talagang galawan, mas tipid po ang 2.0L compared sa 2.4L kasi mas maliit engine, less gas consumption.

I mean sa safety, anlaking bagay ng 7 airbags compared sa 3 airbags lang. Black headliner, nasa Athlete model mo lang makikita. EPAS or Electronic Power Assisted Steering meron na sa Wildtrak, at sa TOTL Athlete mo lang din makikita. 8 way power seats, sa Athlete lang din. Pero sa Wildtrak 4x2 meron na. Auto hold, very useful sa traffic. Kahit sa Athlete wala. Leather seats na Wildtrak, at san mo lang makikita? Yes, sa Athlete lang din. Rear aircon vents na kahit Athlete wala, blower lang meron. Rear disc brakes, sa Athlete lang din. Trunk assisted door, na kahit sa Athlete wala. Puddle lamps na kahit Athlete wala. Kaya mo ba talagang tanggapin lang na sa presyong 1.6m eh wala ka nyan sa Triton mo? Eh sa Wildtrak 4x2 meron lahat nyan. Di nyo ba narerealisekung paano tayo tinitipid ng mga Japanese manufacturers? Tingnan mo ISUZU kung gaano nila tinitipid mga consumers nila, hallogen headlights tapos ang mahal ng SRP.

@@techietoma in terms of fuel consumption, medjo mas matakaw ang Ford becuase of its weight. A smaller engine carrying a bigger weight means it has to work and rev harder. For the other points, I agree the Ranger is a much better pickup in 4x2 trim. If only there was a Ranger with the Triton engine LOL

Sure the athlete it's good price since it comes with Bi turbo, ADAS with 4x4 super select mode. Seriously gls was my top 1 pick but without ADAS it's disappointing.

Still pretty happy with my gls and it has AED. You can easily get custom leather seat covers anywhere. Fresh face, new engine and a more modern instrument clusters compared to what you've mentioned. The only problem I have is these accessories are nowhere to be found near me and I can't travel outside my region atm.

It will look better with the roof rail for sure :D

@@SoJooCars triton advantage is its an asian car means you can easily buy parts anywhere for maintenance and japanese cars are known with durability but the issue is designs and techs cannot compete with ford ranger or ford ranger raptor
