I spent a few days in the Kingdom of Bahrain, and went on a journey to discover what sets this tiny island apart from its Gulf neighbours.

welcome to bahrain, i really liked that you tried to show how unique bahrain is but i think that you actually missed it, what's actually unique about bahrain is the diversity and religious tolerance that has been in bahrain since before the gulf oil boom, in manama souq there is a 200 year old hindu temple which is the oldest in the gulf region and in an area of 1 km2 in manama you can find a sunni mosque, shia ma'atam, hindu temple, jewish synagogue, and a christian church; and what you showed in 7:09 is actually the cathedral of our lady of arabia that had just opened in 2021; Also Al romansiah restaurant were you had your lunch is actually a saudi restaurant, so if you visit bahrain again you need to try bahraini food in an authentic bahraini restuarant + alfateh mosque is the largest mosque mosque but definitely not historic as it was built in 1987, so if you want to visit a historic mosque visit al khamis mosque, it was built in the 7th century which makes it the oldest mosque in bahrain. And the last thing is muharraq souq or souq alqaisariyah which was the newely renovated part and not a new souq, and viisiting it along with the pearling path in muharraq which is a unesco world heritage site is one of the best activities or tours that you can do in bahrain as you will see the historic houses of muharraq and experience tradional old bahraini city life and learn a lot about bahraini culture, music, food, and history from the small museum that you can find there. and what's unique about them is you can see a perfect blend between tradional and contemporary architecture in old houses and the narrow streets there. hope to see you in bahrain again.

Welcome to Bahrain Ricky, we might not have many tourist attractions like other middle eastern country we are more of a family friendly destination for our neighboring countries. Hope to see you in Bahrain again 🇧🇭🤞

@Ricky, how do you know how much to offer an Uber Driver for a day's tour? DO you negotiate by number of hours or ask them what they'd quote?
@_Ricky
@_Ricky 2 жыл бұрын
I mostly go by intuition and we negotiate a little bit. Here I paid Pavas 40 BHD for the day.

How much did the Uber driver charge per hour? Did you do it through the app? Or did you pay him separately after booking one ride
