As an INFP, I absolutely Like talking to INTPs, whom they use their feelings a little bit. We have similar Intuitive and Sensitive World, so it makes a great opportunity to interact, specialy with our Extroverted Intuition. But It's important for INFPs to don't sink in feeling and use their thinking function more with INTPs And exactly the opposite for INTPs.

I'm a INFJ with a ISTP partner, and I love it. There's no power manipulation room in an ISTP's heart. They just want to do their own thing and that creates an environment where I don't need to worry about what they need. I get burned out with most relationships I have because I tend to morph into an idealistic version of what the other party wants from me. On INTJs and being mysterious: I, as an INTJ, have never figured this out. I have literally told people exactly what I was going to do, exactly what responses I expected from others as each stimulus hit (including the people I was talking to), and then executed said plan in front of their noses, like a magician who has just explained the magic trick you are about to see. And somehow they still found me fascinating. I do not understand this reaction to something that comes as easy to me as breathing, and which, I just explained all the boring details about to my audience. It's like some kind of comedy sketch where I try to be as honest as I can be, but everyone is convinced I'm lying unless I'm doing my best Julie Newmar Catwoman impression. Only then am I telling the truth -- except I'm also hiding stuff, obviously, because I'm not really Catwoman. Maybe the rest of the world needs to learn that sometimes a cigar is just a cigar, as Freud said?

While I can confirm that we can be dense and potentially oblivious, in all honesty from my perspective as an INFP, what stops us most is self doubt and lack of unshakable certainty. He probably has already thought about it a lot and is too unsure of the situation to fully make a decision on whether or not you truly do like him. We are very hesitant and will not move forward without weighing all the options, and even then we are aware of our own fantastical thought processes to be dismissive of our own judgements to begin with. The best thing you can do is just be completely honest and try to show him in a very direct way.

INTP with an INTJ girlfriend here... I find her sort of "mysterious" side is usually just the result of her understanding/knowing a lot of things but not being unable to put them into words--at least not effectively. They don't show you the process, they show you the product--and when you question the process, they can become a little irritated because... they often don't really know how they arrived at their conclusion. Not exactly, at least, but they are often still right nonetheless. I love deciphering her thought processes. After knowing her for a few years/talking pretty much daily, I'm often able to take what she says and reword it in a way others can better understand, lol. So, I'd say INTJs are mysterious and once you get to know them, that mystery opens up into a brilliant/complex inner world. At least, from my experience.

That is what i call perfection . As an intj I want someone who can get my thoughts without me trying to explain them or put into words . There is too much happening in my mind and it sometimes gets too complicated for me to express my thoughts , thats why we do not like talking too much as we think no one will get our point and it ends up with people thinking we hide everything from them. Of course we lie too , but who does not? But trust me, it doesnt mean we hide everything.

My best friend is an INFP while I'm an INFJ we understand each other so well, it's like we're meant to be each other's friend. She has a lot to talk about while I listen patiently. Sometimes she said that I might be bored listening to all of her stories, stuffs she encountered, what she wants, the dreams and her ideals in life, and what life is for her, but I said that it's okay and that I love listening to her. She also understands me, my inner feelings, my likes and dislikes. Whenever we talk, it'll take hours, minimum is 3 HAHAHA but I love it. I just love how mature she thinks despite her age. I believe that we just complimented each other so well and I'm so thankful for it.

Another INFP with an INFJ bestfriend here. INFJs will always listen no matter what and that's what she does. She likes to understand me on a deeper level so it's always so easy going to her when I have issues that no one else will understand. But what makes me sad is as much as I share and as much as she takes in its not easy being the opposite. INFJs don't share what hurts them as to not burden others and they like to lock up their emotions to provide more support for other people and as an INFP I hate that because I want her to open up more so bad. I want her to cry in front of me letting all the stuff hurting her out so that I can be the listener and help her out

@@yanoizikawa770 INFJ's really don't tend to share their pain specially to someone they're comfortable with. It's because we're afraid (there's a better term for this) to show our vulnerable side. It can also be because we don't want to burden other people with their struggles in life because we believe that we're all going through something, and if we share our burden with others, we think that it'll add up with their burden, and we don't want them to suffer too.

As an Estp, a lot people think I’m weird, insensitive, overly confident and over all an attention seeking ball of to much energy that nobody wants to put up with. Basically they just think I’m really annoying. Except that’s also why I have tons of friends as well who said they envy my confidence, they love how I can just do what I want when I want and stand out from everyone else because it’s fun! People admire me because I can brighten up a dull situation! Life’s fucking boring so god sent me to make it more entertaining. My weirdness is unique, sure call it insensitivity... I call it honesty, you can NEVER have to much confidence, attention seeking? What’s wrong with that? If I don’t seek attention then how can I get more opportunities in life than others, to much energy? Be glad your not seeing my other side... when I’m tired my “insensitivity” doubles. If you piss me off when I’m tired you will either cry, hate me for life or develop at least 10 new insecurities about yourself... maybe all three! Believe it or not there was a time in my life where I lost that motivation and enjoyment I got from being alive. I started worrying about what others thought of me. I started lying and putting on a fake smile so others wouldn’t see how much stress I was under. I doubted myself all the time because I went through the days putting in no effort I listened to all the horrible things people said about me and I started to believe them. I forgot who I was. I was so depressed for a long time because something in me broke and it happened so suddenly that I didn’t know how to fix it. I let it build up without opening up to others or asking for help because I was scared that my friends and family would realize and maybe not like how I changed. It took me so long and I gave up so many times but I kept going. Eventually I found myself again and now I’m doing a lot better. Of course I still sometimes have those negative thoughts and emotions come back to me but I just remember the people in my life who help me to remember that confident girl I once was. It just takes time. Not everything in your life has to be “the best thing ever” otherwise you won’t be able to enjoy the small things as you let your expectations get to high. Only to come crashing down later. ANYWAYS that was kinda long even though nobody will read this but what I’m trying to say is if someone doesn’t like you then who cares? That or... bite their dick off. :D Stay strong my dudes!

So what I've (INTP) learned/ observed about the attractiveness of my people: ENTJ (hubby): BOLD. Sees a wrong, addresses it fearlessly. Super smart. ENFP (son): CHARMING. walks into a room, and is best friends with anyone he speaks with. Can make even shy people feel seen. ISTP (son): All sorts of weird facts floating in head. Helped me gain an appreciation for concrete reality. Helped me see the value of vocational training as opposed to the bias I had toward academic knowledge. INFJ (daughter): Halo effect. She made no effort to befriend anyone, yet everyone she meets wants to be her BF. Has an uncanny ability to read micro expressions. Even mine, when I am putting on a flat affect. Freaked me out when she started reading me like an open book. They are all pretty amazing.

All checks, not number5 tho. We like asking questions, so we can get a chance to know/learn you. When we are interested in something, we like to observe. After a while, we might get bored because we already know what we want to know. We are indeed good listeners because all we can do is asking questions. We don't like to share what we really are untill we feel comfortable with that person. In fact, people hardly get to know us because they do ask stupid questions that they don't even care what the answers are. Also, i usually ask the questions to keep the conversation going and sometimes i don't care (we don't know how to end the conversation + that awkward silence will make me uncomfortable XD)

You're correct. I have ZERO tolerance for boredom. But again, we ENFPs are not random. Our logic is simply based on seeing a bird's eye view of a situation and noticing connections which those without dominant Ne usually miss because they're more zoomed-in on details. Our goal is never to be random or to be surprising. Our goal is to avoid boredom; therefore, our brains make connections that we don't see anyone else making. If someone in the group is being organized or being a good listener, then why would be bore oursleves and others by duplicating that? We'll go ahead and make the connections that no one else is making. Whether it's making a joke, giving a gift, or picking a restaurant for dinner, we'll fill out that big picture by intentionally saying and doing what no one else is. We laugh at ourselves because sometimes we surprise even ourselves with the connections our brains make! Now, the problem is when we jump to conclusions. Hooo, boy, those big leaps of intuition can sometimes leap an ENFP off the cliff......

I'm ENFP and my husband in INFJ and what you said bout INFJ is definitely him, but I do that too. So when we met, we basically knew exactly who each other was within 10min of talking to each other, it was almost like talking to an introverted version of myself and we've been married 8yrs now. Although, I have noticed with ENFP you mention them being the life of the party, but that's only if we're comfortable. We read people very quickly, so if we sense the people aren't enjoying our antics we tend to go awkward and quiet because we then become uncomfortable. But if we're comfortable and people seem to be reacting well to our antics then yes, we're not going to stop the jokes coming and we are very random haha XD Mind you, that could be dependant on the scale too. I'm almost 50/50 when it comes to the I/E and F/J so I guess I'm more of an ambivert and other ENFP's higher on the E scale may be more what you tend to mention. Frank talking about INFPs: …man, what doesn’t make them attractive? Me, and INFP: 😳 stooooooooooop 🤭😌 Tbh one of the things that I’ve always liked about myself no matter how poorly I generally think of myself on the whole, is my ability to talk about something in a way that’s not only eloquent but *relatable* and easy to understand. While we as INFPs strive to always be uniquely ourselves, we are never so disconnected that we couldn’t understand *and* convey what it means or how it feels to be “the only sentient race in the sector” (and we’re made out of meat!). Relatability is our greatest strength and honestly our downfall sometimes lol bc it’s that part of us that can look at a monster of an individual and see the parts of them that were once human, that we can not help but want to reach out to. Of course a healthy INFP will know when it is not a good idea to do so, or when to throw the towel in so you speak before things get too messy or detrimental to our own well-being, learning how to do that unfortunately comes at the cost of some really really difficult lessons 😬 But we’re resilient, self expression helps us get through them, and we *always* walk away with a deeper understanding of what it means to be here. I think I wrote all this as I know I need to be reminded of it when I’m feeling shitty about myself, but I hope it makes other INFPs feel good too 💕

FJ gave ISFPs a compliment? I think my timeline shifted? 😅 It’s true, we’re not dumb. We just have the audacity to believe in ourselves. Also, I suspect that we may rely on intrinsic motivation, more than extrinsic motivation. I’ve been thinking a lot about what motivates me lately. No matter how many motivational books & videos I consume, ultimately it’s the joy from the actions I take from my to do list. Not motivational affirmations & other stuff that may work for other types. Also knowing when to rest so that we have the energy to do all the things on our goal lists.

Some ideas for other videos (though perhaps they've been done before?): - Extracurriculars that the 16 personalities were a part of in high school - What friend types will generally round out each of the 16 personalities' close friend groups (given we each can only really juggle a few close friends - what types might we decide to be around and are all our friends the same type or are they all different?) - Friend types we hang out with in high school when we're all less sure of ourselves and more the textbook version of our types because we haven't done a lot of growth versus friend types we hang out with in adulthood - Normal, adult things each of the 16 personalities have issues with (some will just have a lot, in general, like me - an INFP - cos I'd rather be in my head than interacting with people or doing practical things) but things like taxes or maintaining friendships or being at work on time sort of things, I was thinking? - We all kind of get each of the memes of the personalities but what are each of the personalities most likely to try and work on first and change? Obviously this'll differ from circumstance and social background and whatever but I'm just curious if you have thoughts, FJ? Just given you've done a lot of research and talked to a lot of different people. Anywho, don't know if that's helpful but I enjoy the videos 🙂

For me, the most attractive thing about ESTJs is when you can see behind their ''orderings'' that they actually care about you and are just trying to find a way to help you, even if it's not the best approach to do it, but you can see it, that they are not just trying to boss you around, but they actually want to see your best. I really like when this happens. Same with ENTJs, but it's kind rarer with the ESTJs that I met

Stuff like playing games makes me straight up leave. My parents intentionally telling me the wrong time to prove that I should hurry up with doing something is annoying. Even reading an INTJ-INFJ conversation above on how to strategise dealing with other humans is a bit scary, I will strategise what I say to some stranger in a certain conversation before approaching too but that is about it, relationships arent a game of chess after all. @@farhantanvir8838 depends on who you ask really, I have seen people pairing us with like half the types. From those you mentioned to ESTJs, ESTPs, ISFPs and ISTPs I have seen many suggestions. The thing is, the same differences that make couples "more complete" and apparently "attract people" (never understood/felt in action the opposites attract idea myself) can easily turn into sources of conflict as well. As somebody that has never had a crush (so take this with a pinch of salt I guess), what I imagined as my ideal girlfriend is far more of a reclusive nerd type like INTJ or INTP. I think extrovert-introvert couples, while clamoured by many as the Holy Grail, could easily get too draining for the introvert and lead to huge arguments over how to spend free time."There is a party this weekend, do you want to come?" "No." "Damn, I cant understand how you can stay at home so much, you are such a recluse, what is wrong with you?". Then again, we do need them to approach us as we dont do much of that and mature people would be more understanding of each other. As for feelers, I d be scared of unintentionally hurting them and not being able to tell that due to that exact bluntness we were talking about, though I suppose Fe users especially would be useful in helping me decipher social situations. ISFJs seem fine enough if they dont bottle up any disagreements they might have (because I cant tell you are mad and what made you mad if you dont tell me. Tbf I sometimes retreat as well when I think that there is no point in saying anything but I like to believe I d be better about that in a relationship). Their description in this video immediately reminded me of James Milner lmao, can they play RB for my football team as well? See, we can make jokes as well, take that people who think we cant. The ESFJ energy in this video is a bit scary in a "how can you just do that" way but I suppose they are taking the spotlight off of me so that works lol. Their Thinking function is 4th too, sounds like an even bigger clash with my thinking preference. ESFPs would just wreck my plans probably, dominant Se is a scary thing.

I’d also rather initiate conversations with people I need/want to interact with on my own terms and not have random acquaintances I don’t really want to do small talk with popping up (unless I actually want to do small talk with them, which actually does happen every so often but not as a general day-to-day rule). My little observations: ISTPs: I like that you said they are intimidating, I also think they are obviously strong personalities. However even if they'd never admit it, they are scared of conflicts and do anything to avoid them. Even physically run away. When you realize this, they are not that scary anymore... ENFPs: I love their humor because they are not just randomly jumping from one point to another. They get to next idea throught quick thinking and linking their thoughts. They are also open-minded and don't care about gossip. For me as an INTJ it's very attractive... INTJs: I agree, we can talk for hours. For years I thought I was like open book, but later found out we seem secretive. I like to be mysterious, so I don't talk that much anymore. It's more interesting.

I love hearing about how others experience their emotions, especially the lead Fi's. It comes less from a place of: "I have felt those same emotions to that level" but more "how interesting that you experience feelings that way - can I understand this?" I am undeniably weird. Me too. I have INFP sister and I always ask her why she feels that way. But sometimes she get offended if I ask too bluntly.

As an ENFJ, I try my best to give practical advice that best relates to the person I’m speaking to. Whether it’s my sister asking about raising her child or my friend asking about a girl. My advice always helps the other person, but it is true that this can be confusing to the them😂😂 I hope they know that it is useful advice, even if they don’t understand where I’m coming from, lmao. Correct as always, FJ!

I'm an ISFP and my husband is an ESTJ. Very accurate descriptions! I've always been myself. Even as a kid, peer pressure never got to me. My husband can be a "hard butt" but makes me laugh so much.

Right on about me INFJ. Sometimes I'm INTJ on the Briggs, your description is so accurate. I'm always using the Piece of the puzzle that fits then I can go on with life, Until another piece of another puzzle needs to be implemented. Looping and looping, no wonder I sleep alot.

You're always so spot on with ISTPs, but I feel like you're simultaneously missing that they can be very funny and mischievious when you get to know them. They're not always so... flat.
