It should be noted that Kasparov is the inventor of the door-slam attack. In the 1995 World Championship in 1995, Anand took the lead by winning game 9. In game 10, after every move he made, Kasparov would get up to go to the bathroom and slam the door behind him so hard the room shook. The young and mild-mannered Anand was too rattled to complain the arbiter, and it is strange that the arbiter did not stop this behavior on his own either. No player has ever used this attack after Kasparov. So indeed he is the stuff of legend.

For any professional chess players or just someone who enjoys chess and reading it's literature, the reaction would be the same. Garry has the aura and the accomplishments to back it up. He was the first one to prioritise preparation at the top level and later backed it up with engines. He was also the prime moving force for the creation of a game database open to public (more professionals) and that is how Chessbase was born in Germany.

This is the Passion of foreign players be it any game. And here it is were we lack very badly . Just a little bit of publicity and money starts to comfort our players .Then that's the end of our Indian players performance.Only one gold only one championship title . All our Indian players want is only one time that's it. Then slowly and steadily the hunger dies to play for country. Then it's only the money that is on top priority.
