What makes Super Mario Land 2 so special?

the star maze song actually was acknowledged in one game, but that game was paper mario sticker star. if you use the boombox in that game it plays the star maze theme

Great video, I completely agree with the problems with 2D Mario, and I actually think the problem started all the way back at Mario 3.

Unrelated to the topic but this appeared randomly on my front page, i took one look and said "Holy is that Nia from Xenoblade Chronicles 2?". Which definitely got my attention lmao. i felt destined to see this
