Absolutely amazing toon but IMO best budget option for armor is hustle. Insane walk/run, attack speed and even some all res to cap it off all for KO

Amazon is my favorite class in d2. Although I prefer using thundergod's instead of razortail for those extra skillpoints and the lightning absorb. Still have close to 80% pierce chance fully decked out so it still pierces enough to obliterate packs. I also run both tstroke AND titan's revenge so I can slap down the cows with titans and just swap to tstroke for lightning immunes/bosses for extra damage. The less I have to go back for repairing javelins the more I can farm cows. I do need to get some silkweaves so I can swap the merc to infinity instead of insight though.

I'm already convinced, man. I've been struggling with my druid and necromancer, but I'm just gliding through with my amazon. I never tried her as a kid but after running a rogue in D1 I wanted to see what Resurrected had to offer with her. I haven't been disappointed one bit since I started yesterday. I cleared act 1 the fastest with her.

Once you have your endgame setup with all the +skillets you have it's not a bad idea to get Valkyrie to lvl17. At this lvl she gets access to pretty good gear and she is a very good tank particularly if you solo

Dude I love your videos. Javazon has always been strong, but it gets overlooked a lot. Eth upped titans with a good gear set up absolutely wrecks. I used to love rounding up as much cows as I could and unleashing a few fury's on them.

One thing worth mentioning, since this build is focused on Lightning Fury, you're losing a ton of eDPS by not having any IAS on your character. Getting 3/20 gloves + Highlord's Wrath with Tstroke will make you hit the 52% ias breakpoint, which basically doubles your eDPS, you could be clearing those P8 cows twice as fast 🤷‍♂️ And as for the Teleport frames, if you're running Enigma, you need to have Wiz + Spirit shield on weapon swap to teleport, with Javazons you never telestomp like hammerdins, you tele to reposition yourself to land better lightning furies, so the milisecond it takes to swap back to Tstroke isn't noticeable. Lastly, you don't want to get the holy freeze mercenary as he will slow down the cows making it harder to pull larger groups for your Lightning Fury, you want to use Defiance alongside a nice Eth armor to allow him to tank the cows damage.

Phil i always play java poison and lightning fury as i feel you need both. Poison works well at high levels skillers and sunder charm on light immune. But im using a budget titans fury. Spirit shield, razor belt, plus 2 gloves and trek boots. Wisp/dwarf/skiller aumlet, shako helm. How many thundergods javas have you ever found i think i found them 20 years ago in old d2 on pc but iv looked since lanch in all the usuall top mf areas cant find them. I hear the cold plains cave is ment to be best. Still cant find any skiller charms as well. Maybe need to go back to nightmare for skillers ?

I love playing the Amazon. One of the reasons the Amazon is great is because it's so easy to build a character for solo play. LF is amazing even without synergies, so you have a lot of flexibility with skill point distribution. My LF/FA hybrid has no problem clearing any area. Even double immunes aren't too much of a problem due to the physical damage from the bow. I also have a FA/EA mage-zon that does extremely well.

The strongest build in the game is the dual mosaic assassin. I can't belive it has not been nerfed yet, it kills every group in the throne room on players 8 in 0.5 sec or less. My fav and 2nd best i think is the lightning javazon, she can go anywhere and kill anything on players 8 with ease, she seems unkillable. The worst is the barbarian, i cannot get any build no matter how well geared to do a baal run (in a reasonable time) on anything higher than players 4.

Lightning Fury isn't very good until you have good gear or a very high level on it. The poison/plague javs will carry you through normal and nightmare, don't underestimate them. The poison+lightning hybrid is great and fun to play until you can get your infinity and focus only on lightning fury.

Finally got enough budget gear to build an enchanted sorcerer.. I will have to be hail in order to respect. The right now I'm all fire and so is my companion. First character played that I haven't had to go dual spirit.

I respeced my javazon to bowa cause I was bored lol. Made the Ice bowazon with ICE runeword and basically can clear almost as fast as the lightning furry, Single target is slower but crowed clear is really nice. I agree with you though the zon is prob one of the best classes. As far as premier baal runners, the hdin is in that top spot for speed survivability. Followed cloesly by the wind druid and LF zon. In my opinion that is, they are all close though so its debatable which is really the number 1 spot for premier baal runs.

Another good thing about charged strike/light fury is attack rating doesnt matter. They ALWAYS hit

In D2R with the fixed Dodge/Evade/Avoid combined with the immense damage of Lightning Fury/Lightning Strike (Infinity) builds, I actually think 'zon IS actually the best class in the game. Initially started Lightning Fury, but now I actually prefer playing Infinity/Lightning Strike my single player amazon as I can just sleepwalk p8 terror zones on my way to 99 (15% xp left till completion). It is worse in cows, but I find it slightly better in most other terror zones (and for cows I just use my poison necro). When I'm done with 99 I probably will create a 2nd zon for a Strafe build, I farmed a pretty blingy gear for a legit single player build :)

The charge strike zon and bow zon are actually really strong in pvp. Bone Necros and wind druids are two of the strongest builds and amazon counters them. Smiters are pretty much the only thing that just straight up counter zons

I was never able to find or trade for an Eth Titan's so I have not had a Javazon yet, but I enjoyed the hell out of my BOTD Multishot/GA Bowazon back in the day before the Faith runeword came out.

Normal level, lightning javazon is ok, but in nightmare level, many even small monsters are elemental immune, so i would put some points in Valkyrie, trust me you will need it.

Eth uped titans over T-stroke any day imho. Rather run HL for the crit strike and ias. Preferably a -20/20 JMOD and a -20/20 life armour. Rare Tri-res boots with FRW and dex or some nice crafted once. DL ring with with stats/res. Thundergods or a nice crafted belt over razortail. 3/20 gloves 2/20 with stats or leech or LoH if you really need fire res. Griffons with a 15/15 jewel if needed.

I will give mine- stormshield (~35 % damage reduce), coh - 8% damage redutę and shako 10 % damage reduce. Around 50 % dr... damn 😢

I made this amazon and I don't like. It's lack of mobility. On every other character I had teleport with good fcr. Only frenzy barb was so fast he didn't need teleport. I don't recommend this amazon (but you will maby like it idk)

The hardest part with Lightning Javazon is Hell Maggot Layer. Same with Hammerdin.

Yeah i usually just end up teleporting through the whole thing instead of trying to fight straight up. Staves with teleport are a good send before enigma.

Teleporting does work, albeit expensive. As long as you don't tele into the center of a boss pack, could easily prove fatal.

For me Javazon is best just because I think it's cool. Even if it wasn't powerful i'd still play it because to me the idea of this badass warrior throwing lightning spears sounds awesome.

I have a lvl 97 javazon. i only carry a couple jav skillers because anything more than that is honestly overkill. I have no issue killing anything in the game in more than a second or two. Also, I run my merc with obedience and might aura and he destroys any lightning immunes i may encounter

No. Sourceres (pure energy) with Frozen Orb is best! Is range and AOE, nice against bosses, slowes down fast enemies, nice against hoardes of mobs. But I only played classic D2 and not the extension. So, whatever.

Yeah...not for me. I quite like the Bowazon, but I don't think the Zon really stands out in any way overall. I'd say no higher than the fourth or fifth best character. Sorc, Paladin, Assassin and Necro surely better. FWIW my favourite classes are Assassin, Barb and Druid, least favourite is Sorc.
