What is the max carrying capacity for comfy hiking? I try to stay under 15kg but often I get 20-21 kg in certain conditions (like winter camping). My current back can only go up to 18 kg so I notice it gets tough on the neck.

the flex capacitor is flawed. The waist belt has a stiff edge that cuts into the pack at the point where the lumbar pad is fitted. This wears a hole in the pack. I have 2 packs and they both have holes. When I contacted SD by email they have yet to respond. I am currently on your online chat where your customer service person said she would look into it, that was of now 44 minutes ago and still no further response.

Customer online chat service agent got back to me after over an hour to say she went out of the office for an hour. Did not pre warn me. Not a thought to let me know so I did not keep hanging on. Thats the level of customer service you aspire too? She said she would respond to my email, no surprise, still no response

Is the pack size relative to stature or hike duration?

Pack size will expand in relation to the amount you put into it.

@@SierraDesignsGear I should have worded that differently. I'm 5'7" male, does the litter size matter to height. I'm in the process of planning a Thru Hike of the CDT. My experience with Serria Design goes back to the early 90s when I lived in Fairbanks. I had a 4 Season version of the Clip Flashlight and was always impressed on its durability in high winds and rain, never took on water and moisture was never a problem either. Wish I still had it and you guys stop producing it.

shoulder strap stitching is a joke

So I’m wondering why you keep making this post in nearly every video about this pack? Do you own or did you own it and have a bad experience with the shoulder straps? From other videos it’s clear that the straps are stitched to the bag at the top of the upper pads. Double stitching is clearly visible and I can guess that the nylon strap extending from the respective shoulder strap is bar tacked on the inside of the pack as well. Sounds like a good design to me.
