Do you use anything in particular to rid the mullein flowers of the teeny, teeny ants that live on them? Another thought: if you freeze dry comfrey leaves, and keep them whole, they will rehydrate with water, and jazam! you have your poultice!

Mom takes marshmallow capsules for her kidneys and bladder and corn silk she used to have lots of UTIs but not anymore.

I planted marshmallow seeds last year. One plant survived, so we planted that on the side of a trellis. I didn't know if it would come back, but wow - it's back & gorgeous this year! So it's best practice to cut it back in the fall? I'd really love to have this plant come back next year.
