This weekend I documented some things we did here on Saturday & Sunday. The Annual Haiti Benefit Auction is a big thing here and lots of people show up for it! We also had a special church service so I was able to show a little bit of that!

Hey all. I’m not sure what happened to the Audio at the end when Mercy road was singing. 😯😯. It did not sound like that when I was editing it. I feel awful!!! The sound was much better than it sounds on the video! Does it sound weird on your end?

sounded great- we got the overall vibe! I LOVE Southern Gospel too!! While my hubs also not so much into it, it's one of my favorites...got to see the Kingdom Heirs live a couple times and love them. Would love to go to the national quartet convention someday

The Haiti Relief Auction occurs near me in August. I'm not Amish or Mennonite but my husband and I have many friends in the community. This and the Amish School Auction are the only two auctions I feel God's presence in. Absolutely love it. Love watching your channel. Thank you for the inspiration.

We came to Florida with every intention of visiting your church this weekend. Unfortunately, my husband came down with Covid, so we have been quarantined in The Villages for an extended stay. As soon as he’s able we’re going home to Louisiana. My favorite music is southern Gospel. I grew up with it (playing it and singing it) in Virginia and North Carolina. It definitely touches my soul. Your daughter is so precious! I enjoyed seeing her singing in the service. Thank you for sharing your weekend. It was a blessing.

I enjoyed your video so much today! Loved that your church is hosting a fundraiser for Haiti. My Father in Law has ministered in Haiti for many years. He started many churches and orphanages. He is the Director for Global Missions and he oversees large donations of food and necessities that are sent to Haiti. He’s a remarkable man of 93, and still going strong in his service to the Lord. This video really brighten my day! Thank you!

Great video Lynette! I cannot believe how big Oaklynn is. I am just flabbergasted! To me it seems you were just waiting for her to be delivered. Where in the world has the time gone? Absolutely loved the music you shared! I love to sing and music is just so much a part of our family growing up that tonights music just went to my soul.............amazing! Absolutely loved it. Enjoyed hearing Nick's preaching as well. Also on your way to services in the car right after you showing Oaklynn's bag the photo of you for a brief second was absolutely gorgeous. To me it looked into the soul of you and your exterior self.....just as kind, pure and a beautiful picture of a Godly woman's face. It was truly how I see you and the spirit of you. We recently moved from PA to the Villages. We love it here but we do feel like the only Mennonites and there isn’t a Mennonite church to attend. We’re still watching our church’s livestream. I love seeing that we can visit Sarasota and attend auctions like back home. We had the PA Relief Sale every April. Thanks for sharing this.

I'm not Mennonite but I'm curious why you chose the Villiages instead of Sarasota where there is a fairly large Mennonite/Amish community. I am from western Pa and now live in Sarasota County.

@@ginger1549 the Villages has everything we want for our retirement years. I also don’t want to be where we’d have to evacuate for hurricanes. We have a son in Tampa and it’s an hour drive for him to come visit. We do miss our Amish community neighbors in PA but we can visit Sarasota for that.

Oh wow how neat ur church hosts the gospel echoes as well. Our church here in west Texas has hosted the harvest team for over 20 years already(but the last couple of years they haven’t come( miss em),always enjoy the Benders..I’ve also been a part of the prison ministry grading team for many years.. so glad they got to go into the prisons out there,the inmates I’m sure were excited to have them in there midts again.. thank u for sharing this video,brought back many memories

Oh my I loved hearing the singing ! I grew up in the Mennonite church and I have to say I really miss the music ! The church I belong to now focuses more on contemporary Christian music which is ok but doesn’t compare ! 🥰💜

Amen I agree,I grew up in a Mennonite church& still attend but singing isn’t the same. Mostly contemporary and I sooo miss the old hyms and some good harmony…. Don’t let the hillsong & bethel songs creep into ur church.. if ur not familiar do some research just so u know what to look for..

Have you had a chance to hear The Collingsworth Family? I'm not sure that they are exactly Southern Gospel, but they are wonderful. They do use instrumental accompaniment. Kim Collingsworth is an anointed and accomplished pianist. We love it when they visit our church.

Hi Lynette...its been extremely cold here in Barberton Ohio... We usually get some snow as You know by Thanksgiving and Christmas but not this past year2021 But week before last we got 18 inches of snow in one night❄❄⛄ The weatherman tonight said that overnight it was to be 7° by morning but with the wind chill it will feel like 20° below 0 Brrrr its cold❄❄⛄ Your plants look so nice🌿 you really do have a "green thumb" Oaklynn looks so cute in her outfit and the bows in her hair... I miss my girls being little and dressing them up in cute outfits and putting ribbons in their hair ...they're all grown up now(57-52) ...Enjoyed the music🎶 from your church and the service...I grew up attending "Grace Wesleyan Methodist Church" they were very strict in their beliefs and we had many Mennonites who attended our church...Take those naps when you can they're good for you right now being pregnant... I always laid down for a nap with my daughter when she took her nap... I love gospel music also 🎶🎶 and Lynette You're definitely not lazy ... you need to rest take care..LuvYa! Well- it can be interesting! But we try to keep her busy with things. Snacks. Toys I keep generally for church. She loves drawing. I’ve even given her a wipe and she busily cleaned the bottom of the chairs 🤣🤣 she loves to ‘clean’. So it can be a challenge for sure. But I grew up never knowing any different. We sat through several hours of church on backless benches as Amish. And then similar services to ours now in later years. 2 hours. They go to Sunday school around 3 or 4 here.

Lynette I really enjoyed those parts of church you filmed. Takes me back when we were kids in church. Liked your skirt and blouse, very nice. Looked very nice on you. That was a lot of rain. It has been about 15 degrees up here in southwest, Pa lately. Supposed to get colder, really cold for a few days. God Bless.
