▶︎▶︎ Carlos Sainz to Mercedes rumors have started to heat up again, and it seems like an official offer has been sent from the Silver Arrows now that Alonso has agreed to continue the collaboration with Honda. Obviously, with a lot on stake for both sides, it is inevitable that a ‘clash’ of interests will happen, and as of now, Carlos Sainz’s demands have already interfered with what Mercedes intended to offer-or has already offered on his table. But with little to no other competitive seats available, could Sainz succumb to the pressure and accept this role if he wants to remain at the top of his game, or will he be ‘forced’ to accept a project that was dubbed to be too ‘long-term’ natured for him?

Great move for Sainz. Merc. should make him #1, he is better qualified and more experienced than Russell.

@@fn_sndit2910 that's delusional, I'm no George fan but he is very good and on par with the other drivers of his generation including Verstappen + Lewis is literally one of the GOATs alongside Senna, Schumacher, Fangio and some others

If i was Sainz, I wouldnt take anything less than 4 flat years. Sainz is probably the 2nd best development driver next to Checo. Mercedes is gonna have a serious Franchise Driver issue and i dont think a driver swap is going to solve their problems.

There's a lot of hype about Russell abilities which he doesn't have.. except crushing. This nincompoop has no race craft and special technique whatsoever, which explains why no other teams seriously wants him.
