Listen, you may not believe this, but as somebody who has taken the time to learn from factory workers and comes from a family of factory workers, there are people who take a lot of pride in this work. They just wish their salaries could allow them to enjoy buying the products they make.

The 13th Amendment also allows people in prison to be enslaved. At the time it was written, states just made a bunch of laws criminalizing black people to force them back into slavery. When people have bills and a family to feed they simply can’t just quit their job. That is a factor that is predominantly a major concern. A job can limit a person in that aspect and in doing so creates a situation where a person is held captive and or oppressed because they have no other choice but to stay. That within and of itself is a form of slavery.

Either you're lying or you were the worst truck driver in the country to only be making 10/hr after 20 years or you were driving when 10/hr was actually a lot of money. I know for a fact that 20 years ago (actually 23 years ago) someone fresh out of driving school with their CDL was starting at 15/hr plus $.30/mile so if part of your "20 years" experience includes any time this century that means you were so bad you were worth less than the people with no prior professional driving experience.
