Some ancient carvings have been hiding for more than 1000 years and have never been documented, until now. Why did ancient people build it in the face of a mountain in Kudumiyanmalai, where no one can reach?

Hey guys, I am at a very ancient temple at Kudumiyanmalai, and I am told that there is a set of ancient carvings in the face of a hill behind the temple, and it has not been seen by anyone in the last 1000 years. We can see these carvings from the distance, and it looks strange, almost like a large carving of a wristwatch. There is a dial in the center and the strap is extending on both sides of the dial. But what does this carving actually show? How do we observe and analyze the details? I am told that no one can reach this place now, because rocks have fallen in the path, and it is too risky, so nobody has seen this carving in a millennium.
So, I am going to use a drone to document this unseen carving. As we go closer, we realize that the center dial is not a dial, we can see a giant animal in the middle. And we can even see some figures sitting on this animal. Who are they and what are they doing? The animal is a Giant Bull, called Nandhi and there are 2 figures sitting on it. One is Lord Shiva, shown with 4 hands, and you can see his wife sitting right next to him. If you observe carefully, you can even see what he is holding in his hands.
The Bull is decorated beautifully, look at the layers of beads on his neck and look at how he is standing stiff, almost looks angry and you can see his tongue sticking out of his mouth. But there is an interesting figure standing next to the bull. Who is he? What is he holding in his hands? Is it a large umbrella for the Gods? Or is it something else? I am shocked by his hairdo, look at how his hair is standing erect, as though he is getting electrocuted by an electric pole. Is he human or is he something else?
But who are these figures? There are lots of strange figures on both sides, who are they? Before going into this, you must have had an important question popping into your mind right now.
Why did ancient builders carve this here?
Just think about this, there is so much of vacant space around this hill and they have already constructed an entire temple at the ground level. Ancient builders have carved as much as possible inside that temple too, but still they were not satisfied? Why did they climb to this inaccessible location and carve these figures here? It is not easy even today to climb and reach this place. There is no proper pathway to reach this spot actually.
But here, my question is, why are they carved separately away from the actual temple premises and why in such a weird, unreachable location? Only a handful of locals know that this carving exists, none of the visitors or researchers even know about this. But even if you get to know about this carving, you cannot see it clearly.
Only if you take a drone, you will able to see it. So, the question is why did ancient builders decide to carve something in a place that is unreachable for anyone? And no historian or archeologists has made a detailed analysis of this. This is the very first time these relief carvings are being documented, on our channel. You will not find any documentation of these carvings anywhere on the internet.

My first thought is one could speculate simply from the premise that the mountain top was perceived mythically. The "unreachable" or untouchable could be key as the nature of ultimate reality. One myth could also have been that some person or entity/Deva/God was physically in that rock or maybe a mythical temple inside that is unreachable, at least to regular people without siddhis etc. A modern version of this type could be The Temple of Lemminkäinen (search for it) created upon the myth in the Bock Saga of Ior Bock. I would imagine they at least built a working platform when they did it, or only ladder with small working platform.

The rigid caste system that we see today is basically a british propaganda. They in order to erase our culture completely, created these misconceptions and bad things about our culture. See its like this, to decode these ancient carvings, our ancestors already made a knot around it but the colonials created a complex knot around it with those misconceptions. So if anyone wants to decode these carvings, one have to undo these artificial knots first for clearing the misconceptions and then undo the real meaning behind these carvings😞

They probably put it there so it couldnt be destroyed in the same way a temple on the ground or somewhere easy to reach would be. Maybe it's to have Shiva and his devotees over look the land/lower temple area. Also, how can you determine no one has seen it in 1000 years? Surely SOMEONE has been there, especially since everyone there knows it exists. You can find extremely detailed photos very easily from this place with one google search. Dear Praveen Mohan Sir, There was no type of a Caste discrimination between the 5 varnas (Birth based or Karma based or any other basis) in the Temple of Lord Shiva, since he is adored and worshipped by one and all. Irrespective of their Caste, creed Religion, Age, Sex or other criterion, everybody is entitled to worship Lord Shiva and his family. There is no restriction or discrimination in the Temple of Lord Shiva, since he treats all of us as his own children and he does not harbour Hatred against any living creature, since he is a Supreme Yogi and he treats every Caste or Casteless as equal in his Divine presence. Hi there. The carving was not made in that place randomly it was carved on a building which has melted in a great heat cataclysm. Melted buildings are found in many places in India and the middle east. It is yet unknown what caused the melting cataclysm, but we can assume it was a total reset. When we see bull symbology in ancient architecture this usually means the age of Taurus. This zodiac age happened 6000-4000 years ago, I think that all the temples that have this bull symbol were built in that age and NOT 1000 years ago as the new narrative tells us. At this point many of us alternative researchers have figured out that the mainstream history and especially the chronology has been manipulated by the controllers. They have removed the periods of spiritual awakening from every cycle and have condensed history into an easily digestible manipulated story. Hindu culture is much older than they want you to think and in every cycle they have built amazing temples and cities. We have to study the architecture and look for the zodiac clues carved in stone in order to figure out the true chronology of the human cycles. Namaste!

They had access to technology that we can't begin to understand - that's the way I see it. They built beautiful, complex, and massive structures. I imagine that reaching that spot to carve was not that challenging for them. I just wish they left us that knowledge (and they probably did, except it was destroyed or we are too set in our ways to see them). We build scaffolds today to build tall buildings. They can be built of simple bamboo poles. I'm sure they had a scaffold to reach the location. To me the real question is - why there? Does it face East? Do the Sun's rays play a special magic at that very spot at some auspicious time? Come on Praveen - dig deep! Give us some answers.

Its amazing how some people in India, Peru and Egypt think its their ancestors, when a lot of this could have been built sooo long ago there was a totally different culture WORLDWIDE... Native Americans are the only group I know that don't mind saying "this or that was not theirs"... hope we can all get more of a World perspective and come up with a combined solution.... @@junipersnow1 yeah, you are correct. When I said 'they', I meant ancient architects and not people of a particular religion or area. That said, in ancient times, India was a place of great knowledge. I'm sure it was an assimilation of thoughts and ideas from all over the world. I don't think we have discovered how all that was possible in those times. Heck, we aren't even sure exactly what timeframe we are talking about. We think we are super advanced today and ancient cultures and civilizations were primitive. Open minds like Praveen Mohan, show us that we are very wrong in our thinking. It boggles my mind how far the reach of Hinduism (Santana Dharma) was at one time. Through PMs videos I learnt that Shiva temples existed even as far as Indonesia - a country that is now 95% Muslim. Followers of Hinduism likely existed in the middle east as well (I mean, who else was being persecuted for idol worshiping for centuries). I wonder what the idol worshipers called themselves - because Hindu is more recent term/word. Yeah, I'd like to think there was once a world unifying system of knowledge.

Thanks again Praveen! I personally think that these carvings are much older and were probably carved from the top going down, because the rest below was still under water! So the top of the mountain was accessible and surely has some tunnels leading to the lower portion where the temple is now, but that the entrances have been blocked many centuries ago but the vocation of the place remains to this day! The narrative being pushed as true comes from the ones wanting to impose their vision to the world by adapting their non understanding of what exists to fit with their limited vision. And their way to make it true is to remove and dismiss everything else that could contradict or question the truth of their narrative! I love how you disturb what everybody has been shown to believe as the only truth because clearly, it's nothing but the truth! Thanks for your great knowledge and curiosity helping us to see that the truth doesn't come from the minds of some experts, but from the messages on carvings left by great beings that have come to earth many years ago to tell their stories, our story! Thanks to the kindness of certain teachers who have bothered to give me their time, Lord Shiva was a god who accepted all who came to him, regarding them all as equals irrespective of the conditions into which they were born, caste obviously being one such condition. According to some, historically, it was this aspect of Shiva's nature that served to bolster his popularity in those days of antiquity. I have not done as much reading of the history of devotion to Shiva as I perhaps ought to have done, but I did find this sentiment echoed in "The Larousse Encyclopedia of Mythology" published in 1959 in English by Batchworth Press with a really cool introduction by Robert Graves. I only mention this as a possible explanation for the apparent absence of any preferential spiritual status being attributed to members of one caste over another by Shiva and his devotees. As to the rest of the questions you pose for us to ponder upon, pshht, beats the hell out of me! (I hope I'm not misleading anyone with my reference to that encyclopedia. I read it yonks ago!)

I heard from Sadhguru that ancient monks/ yogis can store their knowledge in the form of energy on rocks/ hills/ mountains. So you can understand how important that hill is. The mountain that comes to anyone's mind is Mt Kailasha, also sacred because of the very same reason.

Oh my, oh my. 👆Another cult zealot. @Erik2.0 wrote the mildest common sense applying to all, so wasn't disrespectful by any stretch. That is completely a smearing projection. The op and some might consider someone an absolute authority of everything between Heaven and Earth, and that anyone that dares to question to be someone bad, but that doesn't make it so, not by a long shot. Instead, that kind of attack against someone, who merely expresses a very universal self evident truth (to question and to be grounded), reveals his very unhealthy attitude towards healthy and normal discussion and _true search for truth_ . -What if I told you, Erik2.0 is an Absolute Authority on everything between Heaven and Earth, but as a real one, is too modest to speak so proudly, but anyone who questions is a disrespectful scoundrel that should quickly learn some manners? Would that be silly and stupid at all, exactly like a certain someone? S-a-m-e t-h-i-n-g!

My guess is to prevent others from destroying or defacing the carvings. In short, the carving is in its current location to discourage others from changing anything to it, and measures were put in place so that it stays exactly how its creator constructed it. This seems like the most logical answer without overthinking it.

Another excellent video, thank you! I'm always so excited to see when you have uploaded something new. So knowledgeable and openminded. One thing I was wondering about.. It's hard to tell, but there is a clear crack below the carvings that doesn't seem to extend beyond that area. I wonder if they had tried to carve a temple out of the hillside, and perhaps those initial carvings shown here would have framed the entrance. Maybe early on they met some difficulty or found the rock was not stable enough and that's why it was blocked off? Pure speculation. I enjoy what we don't know just as much as what we do know about these ancient carvings.

Thank you Praveen Sir for covering this topic. As you have mentioned that this particular carving is not easily accessible it is difficult to imagine the architecture/ structural design of this particular section. I have feeling there could be additional floor above the existing on which this particular carving may have been done during those days and over a period because of transformation this top portion may have collapsed and the carving which is there is now resting on just top floor of the existing portion.

I have a theory. The people of that time were tall enough to see the carving because they were about the same height as those that made it. The "mountain" looks like a petrified building like a lot of ancient sites. It's sad the level of destruction that took place in order to hide a good chunk of history from us. The number of giant skeletons found and "secreted away" tells me the people of the past were giants and smarter than today's humans. Giant structures are now repurposed as govt bldgs and museums. They also have a lot of info from the past. The ones that survive the mysterious fires and world wars at least.

The root of caste is the Latin castus, which means "chaste" or "pure, separated." The word arrived in English through the Portuguese casta, which means "race" or "lineage,". It was introduced to India by foreign visitors. Then these invaders made divisions and untouchability in India. Slowly it developed in caste system. But the fact is there is nothing written about caste system and untouchability in any of the Ancient Vedic scriptures. India only had Varna System for business purposes with equality.
