Spider-Man has one of the most iconic rogues’ galleries in comics with colorful villains like the Green Goblin, Doctor Octopus, Vulture and Kraven the Hunter. Many of his rivals, like Green Goblin or Doctor Curt Connors, The Lizard, have a personal tie to Peter Parker, but none have them have literally bonded with Peter like the alien symbiote that’d go on to be known as Venom.
After finding the exiled Klyntarian symbiote on the Battleworld in Secret Wars and eventually rejecting it once Parker finds out it’s trying to take him over, the symbiote finds another person who thinks that Peter Parker did him wrong, Eddie Brock. That forms Venom and Marvel Comics have never been the same since. There’ve been heroes and villains who’ve had a love/hate relationship or even a rivalry that has turned into friendship or the other way around, but what Venom and Spider-Man share goes deeper than the hero and villain dynamic. With so much of the lore of the symbiote coming from Knowhere, the severed head of a Celestial where the being Knull gave birth to the first ever Symbiote, All Black the Necrosword, being wielded by Hela in Ragnarok, the door is open for a more complete story for Venom than we’ve ever been able to see in the previous two on-screen adaptation of the iconic villain. Let’s take a look at the special relationship between Venom and Spider-Man.

That's because Spiderman's powers are so unique and strong, that they make Peter a very special host and relatable being for Venom. I think that's why Venom loves him more than any other host.

I think they connect so well is because they r pretty much the same from where vemon comes from. And Parker is venoms second chance.

Plus Venom is more interested in Peter. Watching the animated Spiderman show tells a whole lot of Venom really not wanting to part ways. Especially during one scene where Eddie Brock says "The symbiote found a better partner in me" But Peter countered with "Me? Not us?" Hence showing Peter knows the Symbiote alot more than Eddie Brock. However I didn't mind Venom movie it wasn't so bad :).

If they do decide to implement venom into the MCU, I think their best course of action is to just say “Hey, Tom Hardy Vemon is officially part of the universe”. The groundwork is already laid for it

only relationship that Spider-Man and venom has is a deadly relationship because venom wants to kill Spider-Man for rejecting him when he was a symbol suit and he bought it with Peter Parker AKA Spider-Man so that hater build up over time when the suit lets on to Eddie Brock because Eddie brought had a strong hatred towards Peter Parker for basically destroying his life That's why they both became venom That how this whole thing started

Spider-Man has no relationship with Venom in the MCU. They could’ve just let Peter run into the symbiote while he was in space and discard it shortly after, but since it happen there’s nothing to tie Venom to Spider-Man

He has a lot to do with him. Not only does he have his powers, he represents that moral compass that Peter and Venom fight over. You can't forget this isn't just with Eddie Brock, he has been inside his head and memory. He knows his thoughts and feelings at all times, and it still has a semi attachment to him, like for example, venom had a short comic stint to where he wanted to become a hero, and help Spiderman. He always tries to follow his morale, and that gives him an attachment to him always

@@Sjono Yet the design of Venom still has the Spiderman symbol on it, so there's still a connection there, which can be played right into a storyline. It's subconscious still uses Spiderman like powers, and keeps the same suit.design.

Jordan Wilson There is no white Spider-Man symbol on the suit and even if it did there’s still no connection to Spider-Man. You clearly saw that Eddie Brock was the first successful connection the symbiote had plus the movie took place in San Fran not New York. There is no connection to Spider-Man

In my opinion! They shouldn't put Sonys Venom in the MCU. If they put him in the MCU they should introduce him through a Secret War event like it was in the Comics. Spiderman should have contact with the Symbiote First and then they should introduce us to Eddie Brock and Venom in a Spiderman 3 or 4 after maybe Avengers 5 Secret Wars.

A little off topic, but was anyone else at least a little disappointed with Tom Hardy’s portrayal of Eddie Brock, like when he was cast way back in 2017, A LOT of people including myself were super hyped because we thought we were finally gonna get that tough, mean and grizzly Eddie Brock that was missing in SM3, Tom Hardy plays characters like that very well, but when Venom actually came, it turns out he was more of a whimpering weirdo than Topher Grace was as the character, Tom of course had more likability as an actor to play it off but still, is it not the complete opposite of what we wanted since the casting news? I sure as hell was disappointed
