Carnage is only stronger because Carnage goes through the blood vessels in the person who he's controlling's Body, if Eddie allowed Venom to go through his blood vessels, he can't transform into a monster because the person would have toxic blood and would most likely get poisioned, this is also the reason why Carnage is stronger and why Carnage's person who he is controlling can't transform into human unless Carnage wants to freely go around which they don't commonly do or if the person desperately asks them to do it

There are a few things Venom has power wise Carnage doesn't, or things Venom has better off. Venom cannot be sensed with spider sense...Carnage CAN. The symbiote itself doesn't only hate Peter, it also LOVES Peter and viewed him as the perfect host. Even it's children were never allowed access to the secret of the spider sense. Obviously Venom has long since changed it's view to Eddie as it's perfect host, but it still refuses to allow anyone to touch that secret. As Venom has become more of a Hero, it's steadfast stubborness to take the secret of getting around spider sense to it's grave has since increased. Venom can actually use camo to the point of total invisibility and can hold it for a LONG time, Carnage is actually incapable of altering his red color for very long due to the fact the suit is literally bonded to Cletus' blood and has never shown an ability to go invisible. When Venom loses a piece of himself, that piece remains fluid and pulls back into the whole, when Carnage loses a piece of himself it becomes brittle and shatters. This is actually a huge weakness as if you forcefully continue to rip pieces of the Carnage symbiote from him, he will eventually run out of energy reserves and be unable to fully cover himself. Yes, Venom is weak to sonic attacks and fire, but he can survive those attacks decently and keep on going even. Carnage, after losing his weakness to sonic attacks, has an increased weakness to fire. It doesn't take nearly as large of a fire to have en effect on Carnage as it does Venom.

Venom has a sense of humor. That can be a superpower all in itself, if handled right.
