Alex you have really developed into an amazing film maker. I love you information filled episodes and being able to see places and things I may never see in person. I would love for you guys to do some historical town tours. Taking us to a whole other world. Alex I’m just so thrown back with your professional production. Thank you ladies sooo much

When I was a little girl my mother would add food coloring to the water in a vase and place Queen Anne's Lace in the vase. The flower turns the color of the food coloring. I thought it was magic.😊❤

A lot of wonderful finds today. I love seeing all the beautiful flowers, so lovely, just like the two of you. I'm so happy to hear you say you were going to make a mosaic out of all the pieces of pottery that you have found. They are all so beautiful and should be saved and that would be a perfect way to do so. 🥰

You are so lucky to be able to hunt such a beautiful place, minus the stinging nettles. Here in Kansas I call the one plant 'stick tight '! Because that is what it does. I so much love it when you film the flowers, plants, trees and water as well as all the surrounding area that you can film! It give me pleasure to see your home area and compare it to my home area. Lovely! I knew a fair number of those wildflowers but it's a great idea to list them as you spot them! Elders are one of my favourite shrubs and I took a number of elder cuttings earlier in the year, gifted some and I have kept two for myself that already have developed root systems and lots of leaves 😁 you can't beat intermingled, diverse wildflower species! That soap dish would go straight by one of my sinks 😂 That little ribbed insulator looked like an "admiralty pattern" used on ships and boats for communications equipment. Lots of great treasure at that tip!

I believe your scale pottery shard may be a technique made by pressing lace or crocheted doilies into clay and then applying colored slip and glazes in different areas to highlight the pattern. It has an effect that looks similar to enamel, but in reverse.
