It's so nice to know that "FRAGILE" means something somewhere! Here in America, it means "Go out for a long pass, Vern!". I mailed a seashell in an insured box marked "Fragile" and it was broken! Clearly, we need some Scottish mailmen on this side of the Atlantic!😂 This is the most amazing and wonderful video I've seen to date! It's so calming and sweet watching Shrew and her new babies! So intense, the waiting for the eggs to hatch. Yeah, so glad you got 2 new ones.

In answer to your question about the cigar box incubator... I lined the box, inside and out, with tin foil. Taped 2 plastic spoons to the bottom to hold eggs. A Christmas bulb through a hole in the back for heat. Temp regulated by raising or lowering the box lid. I added a cap full of water for moisture and a small thermometer. It worked quite well.

I watched RawBeautyKristi's quails hatch. I cried every time one freed themselves. Man, I am a suckered for hatching babies. I loved this video so much. It is relaxing, joyful, and miraculous every time!! The leaves rustling abd all the verdant spring is just such a positive experience!! I can tell I'm going to love your new channel as much as the other two.

A wonderful thing you did, we always felt sad for big Swoo being on her own; now she has company her heart must be singing! That male peacock sure looks feisty and the female peahen colourful remind us of big Swoo’s sister that went missing.

Ahhhhhhh! So nice to see the whole process of the chicks growing up and lovely too that Runtie is possibly going to be white like Shroo you lost. Its so lovely to see them pecking around and was'nt that great with mum Shroo and the babe under her on the fence when she went up for a warm up. Oh Alex how precious, I have 5 Chickens. 4 leghorns and 1 Rhode Island Red. They are all girls. We have 2 Rouen Ducks. Both girls. I've raised them all from tiny babies. I love them all dearly. I love your peafowl. I'm sorry about losing one. Very happy and excited she's a mommy. Thank you so much for sharing. Your kind gentle love to shrew is so touching and is wonderful.

Oh my gosh! Aren't they just beautiful! Funny story....when I first started watching your channel, idk how long it's been now, I didn't know what those beautiful birds were. I Googled the word schwoo and, of course, nothing. Lol. It took me a minute to realize that white (sadly missed) and brown schwoo are peahens. Thank you for a lovely and fascinating look into your lives....and that of your sweet peafowl. Sneaky about it too. Telling us it was going to be about a house tour. 🤣

I have been so worried about brown shroo since her sister disappeared. Now she has a son and daughter.

This is a beautiful way to open your new channel. 💚 Brown shwoo might be a good mummy, but I think Alex deserves credit for being a good shwoo granny and looking after wee Runty so well. I love there’s a boy shwoo, he is going to be beautiful. I really hope white shwoo wasn’t harmed by people, in my niece’s village someone has shwoos which roam around. Most are delighted to see them in their gardens and will even feed them, but one or two get pretty mardy about it 😢. Recently, at Normanby Hall, someone deliberately ran down one of the white shwoos. Fortunately it survived and is back with the others. Personally I think they are a lovely sight.

Watching this made me miss my days on what was then a 100 year old farm. The farm was sold but is still going strong at a little over 150 years old.

I wondered why no mention of the Schwoos, Alex - you were keeping it all as a surprise for us. Loved watching that and so pleased for the happy ending and hope that White Schwoo returns one day; you never know. Looking forward to more videos on your new channel, Alex and Gale.
