Then you should know that Bashkortostan is not Russia and that the people living there are not ethnical Russians. It´s a Russian colony and the people fight for their freedom. They do not, to my understanding, want to belong to Russia. Unfortunately - and I say this as a Swede and neighbour of Russia - many of the negative things you hear about Russia and the Russian people are correct. They do not have the best reputation among it´s neighbours, to put it mildly. But again: The people in Bashkortostan are not ethnically Russian and their native language is a Tartar one, it´s not Russian.

Hi Miguel, greetings from the other side of the border, I live in Chiapas. Just a piece of information: This is not Russia anymore than Guatemala is or ever was a part of Spain. The ethnicity of the people is not slavic, it´s Turkish and they struggle for not belonging to Russia. It´s "Russia" just iin the meaning that it belongs to the Russian federation, but again: The same way the Spanish wanted your people and the world to believe that you in same way belonged to Spain. Which was of course nothing but a colonial lie.

Bashkortostan is nice...I'm from the Netherlands but I lived in Russia for 7 years with my wife. In Kazan. One day I said. THAT'S IT Today we will have fun in Ufa! So we went there by bus...Craziest little vacation we ever had. Everything we planned was replaced by better things. We go on the street to walk, people come with us to show us the city. We go have a drink, the bar in a 80's style calls their friends to make it party for new guests. I repeat a guy from a +100500 video: Moskva g*vno! A Ufa za*bis! And we get free bish barmak. It was maslenitsa so we burned a straw doll in the forest close to our apartement and suddenly it was sunny and + 3 C. We will never forget Ufa. It was only for 2 days, but we felt good vibes everywhere we went. And that is only Ufa, not the rest of Bashkiria. Kumyz though...Yes I know that tends to torment your belly a bit. Next time you drink Kumyz eat some cucumber and garlic with it. It helps. :)

Eli has a fantastic style. At first it seems much like a tourism video of the region, but then we cut to her and her 2 'sisters'. Their adventure through the city was such a joy. The blonde cousin is a natural on camera, and her limited English was a positive not a negative, as she switched between languages. And it was a surprise to hear the other cousin at the end, who seemed so shy, to talk about her thoughts about leaving.

🙂 Very interesting culinary selection. As a Pacific Islander in Russian society I would be a fish out of water. But, in the Tongan culture horse meat is a very highly sought after delicacy. As for Samoans, my ancestors had a less than, how I would say, a less admired culinary cuisine, especially during times of warfare, which would make you cringe, so I wont elaborate further. 😂 My ancestors were warriors and what we did to our vanquished probably would send shivers down your spine. Thankfully, in 1830 we were civilised by the English Missionaries. We changed our Paganistic ways, and with that so too our culinary habits. 🤭In saying that, thank goodness for Christianity and making new friends from different cutures. We now prefer playing Rugby or American Football and we have changed our Fa'aSamoan ways. Polynesians include Hawaiians, Tahitians, and the New Zealand Maori. The more ancient Polynesians are the Samoans and Tongans the other Polynesian Island groups evolved from us. Samoans include the modern Tahitians and Hawaiians. The Tongans migrated to the Cook Islands and onto New Zealand as the modern day Maoris. In short, the New Zealand Maoris are really ancient Tongans. Hawaiians and Tahitians are really ancient Samoans who left Samoa around 2 thousand or so years ago. We all originally migrated from South East Asia, most likely and yet to be confirmed through DNA foresnics, from ancient Formosa, or Taiwan. As Austronesians, and future Polynesians, we may have originally inhabited Taiwan before the KMT Chinese invaded Formosa and took over the Island in 1949 and named it China Taipei. We all know what has happened since. Otherwise, you will find trace elements of the Polynesian culture throughout Malaysia and Indonesia, the Philippines and of course Taiwan. Ethnolinguistic evidences points to these places as our original points of departure to the Pacific Islands over three thousand years ago. So, we are kinda older than modern Russian culture in some respects and most European cultures particularly the English culture whose history is less than two thousand years old. As few as we are....we have existed longer than most European cultures. Anyways, keep us posted with the Russian culture and civilisation and we are worlds apart. But, I am always intrigued with the Russians, the Rus, and especially the Mongol and Tatar history of your Eurasian and multiracial Nation. Thank you for your highly informative and edicational youtube vids. Cheers. 🙂
