Damon...My Macan (2018) has a place in the center console specifically for a smartphone with access to a USB port for charging and CarPlay plus the phone then takes advantage of the rooftop antenna for better cellular reception. It's pretty slick.

Loved the different “Top Five” choices. 👍 Neat to see Vu at Daytona this past weekend. Congratulations to Porsche Penske Motorsport! Had to chuckle about the comments in PCA member interest in racing. The PCA Corral at Daytona illustrated the point perfectly. A number of folks parked and then headed directly to the hospitality tent without ever spending any time outside watching the cars live. Definitely a social event for a lot of folks. Ego stroking event for a few prima donnas as well. 😂 Overall a great time and a chance to see a bunch of neat cars, especially the two 356’s parked along the railing. 👍

I’ve driven 922 GT3, I’d like to drive the latest GT3 RS, Carrera 4 GTS, The Porsche that Michael Fastbender drove, Cayman GT4 RS. A Posche of my choice spec’d by me, built by Porsche.

reason your rear tires were low is that cold temperature tires needed top up to bring up to recommended pressure. Your front were already at correct temp

They were all at the correct pressures two days before. If it was the temps, wouldn’t they all drop in pressure?

I live in Birmingham and own a Porsche. Curious about the Porsche Parade taking place here. Can I attend or register for any events if I'm not a member of PCA?

I can assure you that if you do not join the club and register for the Parade, you'll end up regretting it. Even if you are a casual Porsche enthusiast, Parade is a big deal. We probably won't come back to Birmingham for at least twenty years. Heck, the closest to me was Hershey and that was back in 2005. You will have the Porsche world come to you this year. That includes folks from Germany and all around the US and Canada. You will save a ton since you don't have to stay in the hotel. You just have to pay the registration fee and whatever meals and events you want to attend. In the end, you'll end up with a bunch of friends from around North America and memories of Parade.

Why is the company name Manthey pronounced “Mon-tie”,.., verses what I hear pronounced here in the U.S. as Manthee?

In Columbia MD (where PCA is located) there has not been any meaningful amount of snow in years, winter tyres make no real sense...

All season tires can pretty much handle Maryland winters if one has front wheel or all wheel drive. That said, if one has summer tires the low temps justify changing tires. And if you're going to change tires, might as well change to winter tires.

@@PorscheClubofAmerica the point I made is that in 4 years i have not used my snow thrower. Very little if any, snow in Columbia.
