They keep saying "Two American guys". Ryan is Canadian. Idk if he has American citizenship, probably, but he was still born and raised in Canada. Rob is from Pennsylvania, US.

Yes he has Dual Citizenship now. It's not wrong to call them both Americans. You don't have to be born in the US to be an American.

Of the greatest players of all time, the one I think would fit in best at Wrexham is Best. George Best. Played on worse pitches than non-league at a time when leg-breaking tackles were acceptable, yet still had the most phenomenal balance and ball control, with heart of a lion. Also, was from a humble Northern Irish background. And, if that wasn't enough, had film star good looks. Perfect.

Or someone like Maradona, who came from nothing. Best is a great shout, as is Law, Charlton, and honestly any of that earlier generation. Nordahl, Meazza, Puskas would be some other shouts.

@@ivans562 On purely footballing terms, I can see the case for Maradona. My point with Best is that, as well as being a brilliant footballer, he would also fit in easily to the Wrexham culture while also having the looks and star quality to also be a huge asset media wise. But, hey, this is just fun pub talk really.

If I’m down at the pub, Red stripe in hand and monster munch on the table, and you level that question at me in terms of who’d be the most wrexham, Georgie might be my second or third, probably after Big Matt le Tissier or Gazza (not in terms of talent but on terms of who would fit the best)

@@ivans562 Sorry, Ivan, for reasons already given, I'm sticking with George. Love Matt and he would certainly be club legend. A player I know only about from scratchy archive footage and what I've heard or read but has a phenomenal. reputation among those who knew him, both as a footballer and a person is John Charles. Think being Welsh he might have an edge.

Theo is so clueless. If you could bully Messi out of the game, then the best players in the world like Ramos and Pepe would have bullied him but they couldn’t.
