I think there are a whole lot of young people who follow him or other spiritual teachings. I am 23 myself and I've been deeply interested in spirituality since at least two years. Eckhart had a major impact on my life.

As a recovering addict I find Eckhart's teachings to be a foundational supplement to the 12 step program I practice. Without his teachings I could have easily found myself stagnating, and continuing to live a spiritually bankrupt existence... By finding the power of presence in my life I can truly say I have found myself. Life is good today. Thank you Eckhart.

Eckhart I want to thank you so much for your transparency and hard work and for sharing it with the world. I am a followers of Jesus Christ, and there was much fear conditioned in me about listening to anyone other than Christian based teachings. But I took the risk of listening to you and you transformed my understanding of how the mind works and it had a domino affect on my entire family and brought us together after years of disfunction. Your teaching blends perfectly with Christianity! In fact your teaching improved my relationship and understanding with God. Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart.

A Great Man. In India they would call him a Saint. Enlightened Being. He shared openly without holding back what his life is like... Unlike most of us, we will only share what we would like others to know and not share embarrassing things such as ”not a single person turned up for my workshop and I just sat there alone”

After I lost my 21 year old son to suicide on Christmas Eve 2017, I prayed for guidance. Eckhart teachings in the "Power of Now" saved my sanity. I listen to him in the car when I commute to work. Whenever I feel like I am going to lose it, his teachings come to me. Favorite teachings is...“Whatever you fight, you strengthen, and what you resist, persists." “The primary cause of unhappiness is never the situation but thought about it. Be aware of the thoughts you are thinking. Separate them from the situation, which is always neutral. It is as it is.” Would also highly recommend that you check out Rupert Spira here on KZfaq.

Really that's amazing.. I've just discovered echoey tolle from his KZfaq channel and Dolores cannon and am researching them both. I've believed in spirits and the stuff he teaches for a long time but haven't really had the time to look into ot more deeply untill now. I need to read his books i think. Heard a lot of good about his books.

So sorry for your loss, I have heard so much positivity about this man and I find his short videos explaining certain things very helpful. I lost a cousin to suicide we weren't close so it's completely different but have an understanding of how suicide affects lives I'm glad you didn't give up and found a way to get through a pain that is unimaginable to me, as a mother of 3 sons. We're do you start with ekharts work?? Any advice welcomed. Thank you.

The guy who show up in his workshop alone is so blessed. Imagine I am the only there to hear from him. Eckhart is very special man, he doesn't think so, but he is.

All my life i have looked everywhere for answers. I have always knew there was something more than just the thinking me. Eckhart Tolle where have you been all my life. I am so glad i found a teacher that i can understand, and a teacher that i find very interesting. It is never too late, and i am glad i found you now than never. Either ways it wouldn't matter because the true me is not bound by time. Thank you very much Eckhart. I can never thank you enough you have given me so much for nothing in return. Thank you .

It would be difficult to not want to come up to you, Eckhart, in a coffee shop, and tell you something of the love that is felt for you. I might try to resist the urge... but it would be a challenge. I quite enjoyed hearing the answer to this question! :-)

I've always felt that one of the driving forces to understanding Eckhart's work and what he teaches is largely hinged on how Eckhart himself lives and interacts with his own challenges. I believe humanizing someone does a great service to understanding them, and that in the process of teaching and learning enlightenment, this is an important aspect - perhaps the most important. I'm really glad to watch this today - thank you.

With everything at a standstill and "my life" having been at a standstill for months before this - I am finding that I love just being without all of the doing. I've never been happier. I can't stay like this forever so I'm gonna have to figure out how to be happy with the doing.

He makes my heart so happy. I think very quickly and listening to Eckhart, my mind is able to slow down. The relief I feel is so impactful. I’m a better mother as a result. I can be a better employee as well. I hope to spread his message too one day.

Oh how wonderful. I love that it is not "interesting". It is so great that by surrendering we can become more and more comfortable of who we are and we can just be normal, everyday joe, not needing to be something else. By not being interesting it is rather inspiring:)

I am interested in the moments he meditates in a day, he didnt really talk about it. But I guess he does a lot. Or maybe thats what he meant by "I love being". Ps so happy this all exists for us to see and read, and also the lovely comments of people here. The world is not so bad as we sometimes think.

Thank you for posting this. As my Ego gets weaker and weaker, my life seems to get less and less interesting too. My tastes are getting simpler. My wants smaller. My wishes fewer. In recent months I started wondering if there was something wrong with me or was doing something wrong because I have lost the desire to, say, traveling, going out, social media, etc. (typical activities everyone does and I too used to do). This video was most reassuring that I am on the right track of my spiritual journey. Thank you Eckhart!

Bless you Eckhart. You are someone one can only love. Thank you for everything. Your book A New Earth was the turning point for me in my life and it's the one book I recommend to others. It came at a pivotal moment when I was in the depths of suffering asking for relief and it provided so much healing and opened my eyes. Thank you so very much again, even though these words just don't suffice. Thank you for continuing to come to us with your teachings. I always knew eckhart was infp like me. Or maybe he's an ISFP? hard to tell but I can relate to him on many aspects of his everyfay life like staying up late or having trouble meeting deadlines(procrastination), and the desire for privacy. I love his sense of humor as well, truly inspirational and genuine. Not many people can lift my spirits like eckhart does. Glad to see many people resonate with his teachings.

just so loving... as always...even more......no ego at all,,,,zero, nada, nothing...very rare,,,,that is why he is the best spiritual teacher posible...most have some ego...he is so natural...so honest...so simple....so musical...like when he says he just likes being...being still...or walking in nature....and likes little things...love him when he says - i´m an introvert by nature...it´s not in my nature to go out there and lecture...but the universe acts through me...and I surrender... accepting the challenge of taking the teaching to so many people...and he is so funny when he recognized that once in england at a workshop nobody turned out...and for a weekend workshop just one person turned out...and so he taught to just one ...very generous...inspires...has a muse...and we might be in front of an invisible saint...as incredible as it sounds.

I have all the past thoughts filling my head and the future the same time and this can be very tiring and distracting.But I have now received an amazing simple bit of wisdom. The now. Live in the present.I just now have to try and train my mind to live in the present??Thank you Eckart.
