@@maddichavous4315 If you score less than a 3 on an exam and your teacher thinks you should have scored higher, they can request it to be regraded. I'd talk to your teacher about requesting that asap if you haven't already. Not sure if there are deadlines that have passed.

Really upset about this years exams. First of all, a 1-2 question test reflecting how well you did in the class all year?? I worked hard all year to get good grades in my AP Gov and AP Lang class. I thought the exams were easy, and I ended up getting 3s. On the other hand, I was literally failing AP Econ all semester and I thought I completely bombed the exam, but I got a 4?????? A lot of my friends seemed to be in the same situation, doing poorly on the exams they were confident on and then getting lower than expected on a subject they weren’t as confident on???

Since I had to retake one of my AP exams, I get to wait until August for 1/3 of my scores. Lovely😬. I'm so nervous for the scores I do get to see on July 16th. My top college requires a 4 or 5 on every exam in order to get credit so the fact that the tests were all changed into one essay or a couple long answer questions has created a tsunami wave of angst since I've been studying all year for a test that ended up being about the one section we skipped at school.

@@AmeliaEvansMusic I googled "**College Name** AP Score for credit" and it led me to some sort of page on each school's website with a link to a table showing what on-campus classes you can get credit for if you take a certain AP class and get a certain score. Some schools require the same score for all subjects (like Grace College and Theological Seminary gives credit for 4s and better). Others want a different score for each individual class (like Taylor University wanting at least a 3 for Environmental Science but needing a 4 for French Language). There's so many variables to consider based on if a college is private or public and what skills they value (humanities or STEM). Some classes may only count as electives, especially if your score is not a 5 or the college doesn't offer a comparable class on-campus.

I got a 3 I think the main reason why I did so bad was because 1) English isn’t my first language. I can’t write fancy sentences to please everyone. I can’t write an essay to save my life 2) I took the test at Midnight. :/ I wish I could’ve chosen the time. Like seriously taking a test from midnight to 1am definitely threw me off 3) my teacher focused more on multiple choice rather than frqs. And again I couldn’t teach myself, because a 1st grader writes better essays than me

I took WHAP this year, started studying the last 2 days before the test, took pages worth of notes, never used them, finished with 10 second left and still got a 5😂😂. I don’t know how, but I’m really proud of myself

I managed to get a 4 on Lang and 5 in APUSH. Honestly, the fact that APUSH gave me an American Revolution prompt basically carried me the whole way. Lang I kind of expected a 5 but at the same time I definitely didn't take it as seriously as APUSH and found the sophistication point to be weird.

Great video! Quick question - are the scores you send the only ones you are able to get placements/credit for, or can you get them for scores you didn't choose to report? (ex. if I got a 3 on an AP test and don't report it, do I still get a placement/credits if it applies for that specific school?)

I got three 5s, but now I only have a really bad cs 1 class on offer or a cs 2 class in a language I don't know and it has a corequesite of descrete math with only 2/5 or 3/5 rated teachers because I applied late ( because of a confusion with a college setting up company thing) and I went slowly through registration, so wtf do I do?

I’m really really nervous for my AP result tomorrow. Yeah, I live outside the US. That’s exactly why I haven’t received my scores yet. Also, I don’t trust early scores kinda. I’m so scared. I’m having a panic attack.

On my APUSH exam I somehow got a 5 but I got a really easy prompt so that was kind of to be expected, and on AP Lang I got a 4 and didn't understand the prompt at all so I'll take it lol. Good luck to everyone receiving their scores!

I got a 5 on the test I barely finished and a 3 on the one I had 1 hour extra and checked 10 times, easy A in class as well, I find it hard to belive praying that my rescore gets me a 4 at least

dont stress over the APs if i got 3's on all 3 of my ap tests in my sophomore year during a pandemic where i was online half the year and with undiagnosed adhd :,) it most definitely was a struggle but evn i was surprised that i got 3's instead of 2's lol but dont sweat about college credit or whatever just acknowledge it was difficult and you tried your best!! i mean ofc you might not even like the aps you take, like i absolutely despised euro but ur gonna do great !!

I only took AP Physics last year and a few other honors classes, but my language class doesn't have any honors or ap levels and I didn't take APUSH. I got a 5 on the Physics exam, but I'm not sure if colleges will think I challenged myself enough. I'm taking 4 AP's next year as a senior, but since I won't have the scores yet I don't know if colleges will care. Am I skrewed in terms of course rigor or is that okay?

Does anyone know what the difference between placement and credit is? Also, if u didn’t pass like 10+ AP exams, how does it help u save money, because isn’t tuition like the same per year regardless of hm classes u take?

If I got 3 5’s but decided not to take the APUSH because the course didn’t line up well with the tested curriculum on the AP exam (it spent a lot of 2nd semester on late 1900’s to present and on mastering MC questions but not FRQ,) should I send official score reports to the top schools so they know that I am not hiding a low score?)

I did pretty good with AP Micro Free Reponse Practice Questions....only for me to get less then a 3 on the exam 😭😭😭😭 Edit: after crying for legit 1 hour, I've decided to just focus on getting a really high SAT score instead. I think it can be done, and Imma use this failure to fuel me instead.

@Timothy Tran; you still did good man! Besides this years scores really dont measure the students scale at all becuase it is cut very very short to 1 or 2 periods and it is 50 mins long. Dont worry! These exams have no authority to define you, and you are capable of changing the world with your talents!
