Glad you found it useful. People with Type 2 diabetes, especially if they are newly diagnosed and the condition is still mild, should make use the the still open window of opportunity to do everything that they are willing and able to, to make the necessary changes and improvement to their lifestyle and diet to reverse, retard and combat diabetes. Black seed oil, make sure your food doesn’t consume ANY sugar and get rid of the bad carbs and don’t eat certain fruits that convert into sugar. There’s many many more but start with that you’ll see a hell of a difference and do your cardio cardio and more cardio at least 3 or 4 days out the week!

I'm a longtime diabetic your information is very useful to tackle the dietary for diabetic I have been on low carb diet and find it helpful but to change a long lifetime habit of loading my body with carbs and snacking taking time to change one's mindset on the balance lower the carbs and minimize the snacking daily really helps Thank you doctor

I find it very hard to find foods that I CAN eat as I learn to live with diabetes and heart disease. I honestly just wanna lay down and cry every time i need a meal.

Hi dr chan How about making a video whether diabetics can eat cream crackers (non sweet) which is 15 gm carbo per serving of 3 crackers or 5gm carbo for each cracker?

Hi Dr. Chan. Can you please do a video on the truth about the carnivore diet for type 2 diabetes ? I’m worried about the cholesterol, but also the advice of eating animal fats for energy rather than carbohydrates. Thank you !!

The reason I wont diet, is because it is so unnatural, but I like to know the guidelines and rules, and I am a big fan of trying new things, whenever I am eating too much of one thing, problems arise, variety is the spice of life. Recently have started skipping meals, nothing is better than eating a delicious meal when you are actually hungry.

I've always kind of done the keto diet never really got too far with it weight Wise and I'm always concerned about the foods so I decided to switch 6 weeks ago and do the Mediterranean diet I feel great I'm down 26 lbs love the food and I can have the things I didn't think I could before. My blood sugars have leveled off

It is a commercial business for the doctors who try to make more money by lingering the patients and don't give them right sujjestion what is right kind of foods for diabetic patients.

All they ( most ) do is hand out meds and a computer print out on how they (meds) work. And you're out the door. And don't ask too many questions, it makes 'em squirm in their seat. Since 1989, when I started having medical issues- I've only had two good doctors and one outstanding Physician's Assistant (PA). Maybe I should look for the PA again.

To be honest, this video is not useful. Tell us if it is for example Paleo or Keto is good but you could add this and that twist. You are the expert and we are relying on you to make this answer as understandable as A B C D. Pretend that you are talking to children and do not confuse us further my dear doctor.

Question: Can you tell me whether xanax would block the anxiety of fake-hypoglycemia (or is it not related to gaba or whatever)? -- I have xanax for panic disorder and take it as rarely, as needed, but I don't want to waste it if it's not going to mask the fake-symptom or make me feel even worse. :( I'm not 100% keto, but still only eating apples and some complex carbs (with the occasional sip of orange juice to get numbers up).
