I rarely comment but felt compelled today. I can't imagine why anyone would think the way the two of you interect with each is fake. It is actually one of the reasons I love to watch the " Whats for dinner " edition. Your love for one another shines through. Even though Todd is much more outwardly affectionate, you balance each other nicely. Thank you for allowing us into you life. ❤️

You’re always so polite Rachel. Turn a negative into a positive! Who in the world would comment about your relationship being too touchy-feely? Maybe people are envious and instead of posting something positive they post something passive aggressive! You two are absolutely perfect for one another!

The best thing we ever did for our marriage was a retreat on Five Love Languages. When we realized what each other’s love language was it made a huge difference. My husband’s is physical touch and mine is acts of service. Our children have grown up watching us be affectionate and they can see that we love each other. Keep on showing your love for each other.

I love the affection you have for each other. My husband’s primary love language is also physical touch (mine is acts of service). We’ve been married for 24 years, and are still always holding hands, kissing, or just wanting to be near each other. Our kids have long since leaned to put up with Mom and Dad’s PDAs. 😆 We’re in our forties, and often reflect that we hope other couples who have been together so long still love to be around each other as much as we do. I’m so glad the two of you obviously do!

I so appreciate your vulnerability. It is refreshing to see a couple who loves each other. Touch is a basic human need. Those who say it’s fake might be missing touch in their relationship. My Husband and I Celebrated 49 years of marriage this year and I am so grateful for the love we share and we each love to touch. It communicates so much volume in who we are just like a wink or smile does. Love your questions also. God Bless you both. ♥️♥️

My primary live language is also touch so I totally get it. We hold hands sitting in the couch or in the car. My husbands love language is acts of service so I always make his coffee for him in the morning and I make his plate for him at dinner. He takes my plate to the sink after we eat and he opens my door for me all the time. It’s a give and take

I really enjoyed this video, and not just because of the food. You two just seem so perfectly fit for each other. Todd with his loving touches is wonderful! You can see when he looks at you that he loves you, he encourages you in all that you do, but you also encourage him with what he does. I love that you both work together, in the garden, with the cooking etc. I'm looking forward to seeing what happens on your property in your year of rest. I'm glad you mentioned about not getting too busy with the other projects so that you don't truly rest because I'm afraid you could miss out on some of the blessing that I believe you will receive next year.

I think you two are wonderful. My husband works so hard in fulfilling what I’d like or want. He’s not so much outward showing his love-but I see how much he loves me in the things he does for me and how he provides for me. I work hard at home and have learned to can, learning how to grow things, and raise chickens for eggs, and rabbits for meat. My husband still works full time at age 69 driving semi’s; and is gone all week. We do lots of projects together on the weekends when he is home. We work and rest well together-we are just getting started in our new homesteading adventure; so it will be awhile before we can take much of a break, but I hope we at least get to go fishing soon!!! Thanks for sharing!

I personally watch your channel because you two are so affectionate towards each other. I LOVE IT. My wife is from China and we were married in China. We are the same way. Even if I just saw her 30 minutes ago I would have to tell her or show her some affection. She says that is why she fell in love with me. Unfortunately when Canada was about to give us the OK for her to come to Canada, COVID happened. I was so angry but it will even be better when she does arrive here. Never change in what you do. Sometimes I even wonder how the 60% that stay married actually stay married. Most people do not understand that affection for your spouse is actually the glue that holds the couple together. Really, I am amazed that anyone would have anything negative to say about physical affection displayed with decorum and respect! I am also very physical in that sense and I get where Todd is coming from - this is a second marriage for us both and my husband was not used to that in marriage, but here we are in our later years, after 24 years of marriage, feeling very comfortable being physically affectionate and always appropriately when others are around. It's nice to grow old with someone whose touch is comforting. I hope it always is that way for you both.

We really enjoy what's for dinner. 48 deg????????? WOW yesterday it was 110 and the next 10 days 102 to 106. We did a garden update this weekend and our season was real bad and it's over until Sept. Very healthy relationship, we are the same. I tend to make Rochelle laugh all the time as well. A year off for the Sabbath is good for the soul as well as time for yawl and the soil to rest. Great video and God Bless. Mike
