Just an fyi about the red juices from the steak. Those juices are not blood. It is myoglobin. Myoglobin is what gives the muscle its color, which with beef happens to be red. The longer myoglobin is cooked the darker/grayer it gets...And the muscle becomes dryer as well. But the actual blood was drained from the meat long before the steaks were cut. I just wanted to get that knowledge out there, for everyone freaked out, thinking people are eating bloody meat.

Honestly love rare. My mom was a butcher, so we got amazing cuts of beef. As a teenager would on occasion sneak a semi raw piece while cooking. That steak looked like heaven.

I can relate to why you started this channel. My family eats too much take out as well. I work full time in another town 40 miles away. By the time I get home I'm too tired to cook. But when I do cook the meals are very similar to yours. I love my Instant Pot and crock pot. Lifesavers. I just adore your cat. She has the sweetest facial expression. We like our steak cooked medium. In cold weather we cook it on the stove in an iron skillet in butter and olive oil and at the end top it with crumbled blue cheese!

I just ordered my groceries for the first time, my little one hasn’t been feeling well, teething really bad, and I had a big list don’t wanna get her out and I hate it when you forget something and don’t wanna go back for it, this way I was able to order everything I needed and they let me know if they had a item in stock or not, so I’m just really excited to have my groceries delivered to my door tomorrow!! I can get cooking on some more of your great recipes! And not gonna lie, I combine lots of videos and kinda do my own thing with whatever dish I wanna make, get some good ideas it’s been working so I’m just enjoying it, gonna continue through my new year for my family 😄

Medium and no marinade. Stick it in a pan with a little butter. Touch it with some garlic at the end. Get a good sear and finish it in the oven.

This might be one of my fav Mandy in the Making videos. I am going to make the chicken sliders, but already made the beef and bean Doritos casserole, it is to die for. By the way, just wanted to tell you--if you get a pot for outside this summer and plant some chives in this pot, you will never have to buy chives again. I leave my pot outside all winter, they grow every spring in the same pot. It is so good to go outside and pick them, then in the fall when winter is coming, you can pick a bunch and dry them (I use a dehydrator) and chop them and put in a spice container for all winter long use. You can label the pot, "Tammy's Chives" haha
