Great story, nice to see it worked out. Me and my lovely husband are in a agegap relationship as well, 37 years diffence and lots of topics sound very familiar. We are together since 14 years, married since 8 years and still going strong.

An hour ago I watched your #3 vid, when you had been married 17 years. I skipped ahead and now see you've been together for 24 years... congratulations. What would you consider Too Big of an age gap?

We've been together for 24 years but married for 19. :) I don't know that there is too big of an age gap as long as both parties are consenting adults. The largest age gap we've heard of is 50 years.

Or the husband may look down on the wife like she is less then him if he earns more then her or has a more important job. That's what happend to me. I was in a same age marriage but now I'm in a 17year age gap relationship him being older and I find we don't care about stuff like that. Love and connection is what matters ❤ what ever age you are

In my mind or in my values somehow 10 years age gap (man older than woman) it't the limit..why? Well because my grandad form my mother side married at 26 whith my grandma being still a teen of 16..but that was quite normal those times (my grandad was lucky to live healthy at 78 years and a half, then he was diagnosed with lung cancer dide at 80,grandma died at 97, she was a widow for 17 years.....then my fater at 31 married my mom 21, he was an epithomy of healthy..well he was diagnosed with retroperitoneal sarcoma at 76, he died at 77, my mom is 81 with some ailments..she is been a widow for 15 years and a half....I know sometimes the younger partner (usually the woman) could die very young..but usually women die 5 to10 years older (if they have good health care and nutrition, not poor people). My husband is 5 years older than me..and for me its ok..I married at 31 and he at 36...In my 20.s I had other boyfriends, two 1 year younger others my age..others 1 to 3 years olther...I learnt from all this experiences..but at 31 or even at 35 I wouldn look to guys in their 20.s...o no!!!! or guys divorced with kids or bagage....but it has worked for you..and you share your exprience and that is fine...

I'm listened to almost halfway, Carrie is at the college boys... Interesting about the baggage part. The 1st thing I would discuss when dating (my age) was our ex's. It was good to get our recent divorces out of the way. My biggest issue with my dates was their WEIGHT! It seems "everyone" is rolly polly, and I'm slim and tall, I really work hard to keep my weight down, and I REFUSE to date anyone with more than a couple pounds excess. Selfish? Short sighted? I want kids, which requires sex. Not intercourse, but ENJOYABLE sex. So by chance, I ended up meeting a matchmaker, and long story short, I traveled to El Salvador last July, and again in March, and I'll be heading back end August to "finalize" our marriage. We text several times per day, sometimes by voice, but usually by Google translate
