Another good idea is using the bathroom light. you can crack the door a bit and the light won't be bright

Yes! Postpartum video would be awesome! Pregnant with my second and the first I made my husband go to the store all the time because I wasn’t prepared for home. So I have an idea of what I need now but would love to know what you recommend!

Im so happy Im not crazy. I always had to check on my baby to see if they were breathing. I couldn't sleep. Co-sleeping saved me. She loved to snuggle anyways.

I totally agree with the slippers! I ended up wearing slippers the last few weeks of my pregnancy anyway because none of my shoes fit due to my swelling! (I had pre-eclampsia). I had to have my son at 37 weeks

I didn’t think of a mesh bag for dirty laundry and wish I would have. I will be looking into the nursing hoodie and gown. Yes to a postpartum at home video!!!

I think it's great that you do video's like this especially for first time moms that wouldn't know what to bring! Great suggestions Brittani! I always brought my own pillow, and I made some baked goods and stuck them in the freezer. Pull them out as you’re leaving and give to the hospital staff. It’s good to start off with them liking you! I even had janitors coming in to see if I needed an extra fan or anything because they appreciated the treats. It can’t hurt lol 😂. I hope that after birth pain stuff helps.....ugh. ~Tamie

Brittani, my problem is when should I put my clothes in going to wear into the bag?! Idk if I should put my pink blush robe and all my clothes since now and not use it just for peace of mind of being ready. I'm 36 weeks today and had baby 2 at 38 weeks so I am expecting her around then

I was unexpectedly in the hospital for 5 days with my daughter! I had to wash my hair! You may want to bring some shampoo just in case!

No one tells you about those cramps you get after delivery. They were worse than the contractions for my second baby! I'm totally getting that stuff you recommend.

Great video and tips I'm on baby number five and never thought of the long charger and the nightlight. One more idea is a vase like a plastic one or inflatable vase I'm sure they have some on Amazon because people will bring flowers and there will be no place to put it. We had to ask our nurse for one last time and see had to search and search for one . Xoxoxox Also what do u think of the native deodorant? I'm looking for a natural one. Hugs! Xoxoxox oh n the slippers for the shower was a brilliant idea!

Funny.... in my bag I packed like one of those coffee creamer squirt on the go things. LoL not sure what to call it. But the nurses were like,genius! Very serious about my coffee. I was so glad I brought it. So my hubby would just grab me a plain coffee from the coffee shop. :) bring your dock a tot too. I wish I had thought of it to bring.

It's a balm for your lips too, but it has the prettiest shimmer to it. It's not glitter at all, just makes your lips look luscious and awesome lol! and smells like banana cream pie!

Is the herbs for after birth something you rub on your stomach or is it something you take orally? I'm almost 30 weeks pregnant with my third and I remember the pain being so bad with my second, I can only imagine how it will be this time. 😞

Megan Sampson At the hospital not many if any. Once your milk comes in, you'll probably change them about 3 times a day until your milk supply regulates.

I am watching this in the hospital after having given birth to my 34 week old. She came so early I didn’t have a bag together we ran around throwing random stuff in bags on way to hospital. Def better to plan ahead. Yes I have no slippers with me 😂.!

Michelle J she’s doing good! She was born 4 pounds 11 oz so they will be keeping her at hospital til she’s closer to term but all things considered she’s doing so well. Ya my water broke just shy of 34 weeks and they stopped the contractions til 34 weeks. You just never know. My situation is a bit rare but it’s better to pack early than last second :).

Your lucky my hospital won't allow any outside hospital gowns. I am glad I asked the last time I went in for monitoring before I ordered one. But I wish I didnt have to wear one of their huge ugly gowns at the hospital!

What size do you get in the nursing gowns? We are about the same size would medium work? Also have you heard of using depends type things instead of just big underwear or mesh underwear in the hospital? Lol I heard of it and thought it was a great way to prevent making a mess
