Q: How old are you?
A: I am now 30 years-old! Argh!
Q: Tell us about your family?
A: I have a son called, Bill, and I am no longer with his dad, as we split mutually when he was a baby. I never imagined my life as it is now, with children to different partners, but I am so happy it is my life. I met Mark in the summer of 2013, and we became firm friends. We fell in love when I became single and we’ve never looked back. We have a daughter, called Daisy, born April 2016, and I’m due our third baby - a boy - in March 2018!
Q: What is your job?
A: I am a trained journalist and former business magazine editor, I then moved into content creation at an agency in Manchester (where I met Mark!) and since Daisy was born, I am now a full-time KZfaqr. Yes, it sounds weird to me too! I work around the kids and try my best to make it work!
Q: What camera/software/lighting/music do you use to make your videos?
A: I film my videos with the Canon G7X Mark II (I love it!) and I have a Neweer Ring Light. I use iMovie to edit, PicMonkey for thumbnails, and I use Epidemic Sound, BenSound and the KZfaq library for music!

I love that you haven't gone and bought all the expensive versions of things. You've got reasonable prices and splurged on a few lovely things. Just makes you come across like such a normal person and relatable. I'm 17+4 and watching your videos is making me excited to meet my little one and confident to explore hypnobirthing. Charlotte you are such a veteran at the hosp bag! You def can tell that u have done it a few times so have included all the right things and none of the wrong unnecessary things! Well done at least it's all done and you're all set to go. I'm 16 weeks with 3rd baby so not quite at stage that I'm seriously thinking about this stuff yet, but still lovely to see all ur prep! I took my makeup when I had my little girl too. It’s something that usually makes me feel better so I thought why not! My hair was an absolute mess but at least I had eyebrows 😂 x

Girl I know what you mean if I'm going any where over night i have to bring my makeup i have the same eye brow ordeal 😅😄I'm thinking of even bringing my flat iron lol I did with my first baby I felt so much better after getting pretty😊

Love that you're reusing products and clothing items. I see heaps of videos of people buying all new stuff, including a bag and I just wonder how sustainable that is and if they really know the products their purchasing. Thank you.

I took a pair of hotel slippers and just threw them in the bin before coming home! I ended up staying 3 days unexpectedly so it was nice to have some sort of footwear without making my normal pair germy! all the best with your delivery!

Charlotte!!! I’m so happy to finally be at 34 weeks. I’m getting my hospital bag ready and I love your advice! I like how down to earth and knowledgeable you are. Thank you! I really liked the ziplock bag idea to put underwear. Wish me luck! I’m hoping to get to full term with my baby due to my gestational diabetes.

Squueeeee I’m so excited for you to go into labour!! Haha I was 7 weeks behind with my first pregnancy when you were expecting Daisy and I’m 6 weeks behind with my 2nd baby boy this time! So since I still feel like I have ages to go, I’m living vicariously through you. Fingers crossed I get to watch your lovely, calm, drama-free labour and delivery story/vlog before my Bub arrives. This is really helpful to encourage me to pack the right things! I’m more nervous about not having what I need packed rather than the birth itself if I’m honest, and when it comes to packing mine (next couple weeks hopefully!) I can follow this video through. I'm pregnant with baby #5, I'm due March 9th, so we are very close to being the same gestation, but I will be induced within the next 2 weeks. I've noticed that we more experienced Moms pack totally different than the newer Moms, haha! We don't focus as much on the pretty birthing gowns and things of that sort......we realize that you never know what will happen and labor will go it's own way. However, I've noticed we do pack more aftercare and personal items. I have always taken makeup, skincare, and special luxury treats for making me feel great. I think we realize that you really do bounce back quicker than most new Moms think they will.....I'm always up, showered, dressed and spending time with my family as soon as possible, I need my beauty items to feel put together! Good luck, I hope all goes beautifully when you meet your new little bundle of joy :)

I took my make up. I know alot of women sort of turn their nose up at it. Like you say though, anything to make you feel good. I never used make up on the ward but i put on some foundation and powder ready to go home. It made me feel like me. Sandwhich bag idea is amazing and I will be doing this next time 🏆

Oh my goodness I wish I had the luxury of packing my own hospital bag. My advise to anyone is pack one early just in case! I had a smooth pregnancy until 7 months. We went for our 29 week scan and was kept in hospital. I had pre eclampsia and my placenta wasn't functioning properly. Had an emergency c section and my little boy is currently in nicu as he is 10 weeks early. I had my husband and Mum run ragged getting me nighties etc as I had nothing organised. Thankfully my little boy is doing well and getting stronger by the day. Good advice on the pants for covering c section wound! Did not think I needed larger pants! Not nice to discover this fact when u don't have what u need 😞.

Perfumes aren’t good as it stops baby smelling you and is very overwhelming for them as their smell is the most developed when born. I’ve kept my perfumes out of the hospital bag.

FYI - it’s worth checking with your midwives in your pregnancy appointments whether you need to bring bottles/milk with you. At QMC in Nottingham we were told not to bring bottles with us due to them being unable to sterilise them and we were provided with ready-made milk (cow & gate, aptamil etc) that had little teet’s that screw onto the bottles. However at Derby Hospital my sister was advised to bring milk with her (though she later found out they did stock it). I think they have to stock it Incase baby/Mum doesn’t take to breastfeeding so don’t be afraid to ask X

Too funny my birthday is the end of January (29th) and I I due in March! Like you! Granted it'd 2022 and not 2018 anymore.... but I've really enjoyed your past videos and your channel mom videos this pregnancy! (My 4th) and just thought it was funny we were due around the same time... and our birthdays are around the same time as well! And I had to come back and add because I see that you named him Stanley, and that is the middle name I chose for this baby too! It was gonna be the first name, but I decided on the middle name! I am in the US and Stanley is virtually unheard of as a name in the last 50 years.... bit I love it and just thought it was crazy that we chose the same name! That is such a rare name on this "side of the pond".

Charlotte Louise Taylor I’m feeling nervous and excited at the same time. I’m due to have a C section on the 2nd of March because with my first baby I resulted in a 4th degree tear and episiotomy. Dana Day I'm afraid they don't, they encourage breastfeeding always and if you can't or decide not to they expect you to get your own. Some do give the first few days especially if the mum is unwell (they always have some set aside, but are not encourage to give them out). Best to get your own so your not always arguing with them to provide some everytime!
