@@Digventures great set of images thanks. I'm actually subscribed to you and get your newsletters (digventures that is). I just wish I had some proper photos of my site - the recording of the site back then was minimal to say the least. very few finds, apart from the broken wine bottles in the small section of cellar that I did. If I remember rightly the house burned down and they decided to not re-build on that site, they moved across the road and that's where the current manor house still stands and is in use. I've never been able to find any sort of write-up for my site.

@@neilfleming2787 that is such a shame you can't find a write -up, but that was a sadly common state of affairs. often they go unpublished, or are just grey literature that is hard to track down unless you know how to navigate all the official bodies and repositories. on the plus side, things do seem to be changing. and as I'm sure you know if you already get our emails, you can always see all of our reports on our website once they're published! digventures.com/reports/ if we come across anything to do with Farningham, we'll be sure to share it...

@@Digventures I was hoping the HEIR Project may have had something but sadly not. I think maybe Brian Philp has mentioned it in one of his books but it's expensive to buy for just one thing

@@Digventures wow, just found a 2014 report for the site, well, sort of, they seem to be saying the actual house was in another field...but not from what I can see of the geophysics, we were right on the money
