I enjoyed that video & found it interesting . Having not flown longer than four hours . I’m not sure I would have the stamina to do it . But credit to everyone who works on them . And those who travel on them . Glad to see the gentleman met his family . And the guy who surprised his mother was hilarious . Looking forward to seeing anymore videos kind this one .

When Qantas initiates direct A380 flights LHR-SYD they will be the longest non-stop flight in the world at 22 hours 50 minutes (10,573 miles). At present QF2 stops at Changi for 2 hours. JFK-SIN is NOW the longest non-stop, but will be second longest at 18 hours 30 minutes (9, 753) when QF2 becomes a non-stop.

@@TheMangoMussolini QANTAS will be using the Airbus A350-1000 with additional fuel tanks for the SYD - LHR - SYD non stop flights.

I'm a real astronaut and writing while on the Voyager 7.2.60 and i can tell you 4 sure the earth is round no plane flies high enough to see curvature of the earth.

No matter how long your flight is, wherever you go, the Earth is Flat, Stationary and Non-Rotating. Pilots make no adjustments for rotation or curvature of the Earth. That's why they're called an Air-Plane, because they fly in the air over a plane.

Pilots make adjustments for the curvature all the time. That’s why they fly in great circle segments not straight lines. The rotation of the Earth affects air currents.
