What’s It Like to Fly an eVTOL?

I got to fly the BlackFly, a personal-use eVTOL from Opener, a startup company in Palo Alto, Calif. It was quite an exhilarating ride! For more information on Opener and its unique aircraft:

Genius! I have not seen many E-vtol company's making aircrafts that are covered under experimental guidelines.

Remarkably effective and efficient design, but aesthetics seem to have been ignored. The Boeing X-32 comes to mind.

Well Opener has dashed the dreams of ownership since they have partnered with Helix which now will sell them at over $190,000. The original cost was supposed to be around $42,000 which would have been affordable to many future fliers. Screw both of these companies.

As someone who lives in a city full of tiny 1 or 2-room apartments, I'm hoping that first they can invent big houses with gardens at prices that are affordable to 80% of the population. 😂🤣

evtols can connect cities with rural areas. therefore you can live further out in the nature (big garden and house) and still be very close to city/urban life in terms of commute time.
