I don't believe I have ever seen a review where someone has done as good a job at conveying the experience of riding a particular bike. This is top shelf journalism.

I’m always dumbfounded by the number of views & likes for these reviews or riding tips etc. Neeves, is so professional, unbiased, honest and unpretentious, this channel deserves so much more foot traffic. Such a brilliant review! !

Just got my 2022 'Busa 2 months back and you've nailed this one hands down.... bravo !!! ...I haven't been on a sport bike in 6 years had a Harley for the wife, that thing was awful !!! Sold it 4 years ago.... Pulled the trigger on a Black And Gold in February and can't be happier, it's heavier than my GSXR 750 then again i'm 59 now so this is a better fit but it's realistically a great smooth powerful handful of bliss !!! my face hurts from the stupid grin a hand full of throttle produces !!! Thanks for the video .. i agree 100% on all points you made. Keep your tires planted and stay safe brother !!! TT

I'm not rally a fan of Japanese bikes, but I have to give respect to the Hayabusa for staying true to its roots. I've always loved the smooth curves of the bike's body. The Hayabusa;s design never gets old. Another thing. This was a beautifully made review. I enjoyed watching it.

I have had four busas ridding a 2014 with 47,000 mi now. that was a great interpretation of the new bike good job. can’t wait to get my new Busa.

When Neevsy says it’s a fantastic thing..... it must be!

I think that the good acceleration numbers are more about being longer and lower than any other bike with similar power. But 10.3 on 1/4 mile is still crazy fast :D

I remember doing a tad over 200 mph on my 1999 Silver /Copper Busa when I first bought it. I pegged it on a cross country 90-mile stretch of road. It was like riding on rails and as smooth as silk. The trouble was the tiny dots in the far distance came up quick and before I knew it I was passing large oncoming trucks.

I LOVE your smile when talkiing about busa. I was riding my first gen busa last week in Sweden from Umeå to Alvesta ....1100 km in 10h including 4 stop for refueling, coffeeeeee and Marlboro ....i only need to change my helmet. Nothing more guys.... Really LOVE MCN

This was a well elaborated review, Neevesy. I've never been a fan of the Hayabusa's looks but I understand and respect their origin. Though I have no plans to own one, I'm just glad the Busa lives on.

I followed a lot of motorcycle channels on yuotube laterly to have info gor buying a new bike. Mcn is the best channel for reviews and leaps ahead for useful info then other online channels. Keep up the good work and greetz from belgium ;-)

Great feedback again Neevesy, you do yourself down in the million plus views of the initial unveiling: a good half of those were down to it being you. Also great explanation of the experience of getting the speed down onto the runway. On another note I think that Suzuki have played an ace card in leaving the analogue clocks as the sweep of of the needle is more a sense of occasion than a blur of digital numbers. Excellent work again Sir 👍🏻

I have a really tricked out gen 2 Busa that I absolutely love and to me it is irreplaceable but I need to tell you, I think I'm going to have to get one of these awesome machines. I really like it alot! I don't know if I would have a need for all the electronics, I wish Suzuki would allow a choice in when choosing my new bike I could order it without all of those intrusive rider aids. I want to feel it, I want to use the skills that I have and also practice to be even better when riding a bike, I don't want the bike riding me. I totally understand that Suzuki needed to add the electronics on the new Busa to keep up with the times and the competition, I just wish it were an option. When I do get my new Hayabusa I will just turn everything off so I can ride it and enjoy this beautiful bike to it's full potential. Thank you for another great very informative video on my favorite sport bike in the world, you guys are amazing and so very helpful!

On big engine bikes like this, one of the most important comfort issues is the amount of convection and radiant heat on the rider in motion and at rest. Because if it is hot on a warm sunny day, that is the no. 1 deal breaker. No. 2 are the ergometrics. No.3 is the power.

I did not know of Mr Neeves standing in the motorcycle world back when I watched this for the first time.I was just looking at the bike.Now after really knowing about Neevsey and rewatching this just now It was so good of him to do this excellent test and review and to hear that he takes the Hayabusa for what it is.Great explanations on this jazzed up version and its new stuff(back then anyway).Very nicely done.

I bought a new 2007 Limited and LOVED it to pieces!!! I ultimately sold it because I have a bad back and couldnt ride it more than an hour. I currently ride a VMax but love going to the store to sit on the newer ones. PHENOMINAL motorcycle!!!

Just sold my 2018 'busa (heartbroken/my first new bike), but will no doubt have another, I've heard there will be a white one later in the year and saw the pcp deals in MCN today :D

I remember a couple months ago everyone accused Suzuki of a failure and from what I remember you putting this wonderful bike down in some ways including that it’s not suited for you because your short. But now a few months later suddenly after ACTUALLY RIDING it we see a totally different story. Good to see 👍 Still a legend and still King of the Road 👍👍👍👍

The Hayabusa, stupidly fast, outrageous amounts of torque, phenomenal stability, iconic machine. I have owned no less than 5 of the.....BUT, the Kawasaki ZZR1400 is, in all honesty, better in every department, and that is why I sold all my 5 Busa's yet I kept my ZZR1400.....

I had a CBR 1100XX as a second bike and that thing was a bullet compared to other sport bikes, even when down on power the length and aero of that bike made it so much easier to launch and ride at top speed.

That's why I'm always watch out for new contents and reviews of MCN. I always believe Neevesy. He is just straight to the point.

Great review, did I miss what the top speed was? Good Suzuki make it but the days for this kind of bike have gone. Last Gen.

As an MCN magazine subscriber, I was very impressed with this super pro review, top marks here. I owned a gen one for 2 years and it was so fast. I'd love to see the new GSXS 1000 reviewed, its looks are already a bone of contention, much like the original Busa. Personally, I think it'll fly out of the dealerships with that price and spec.

The Hayabusa is all about max power & torque. When every other bike manufacturer is adding power & losing weight dealing with euro5 regs suzuki gives us electronics the bike should have had years ago. With 200+ hp liter bikes the Busa disappoints this Busa fan.

Legends will never die including the busa it will go down in history!! It’s amazing at 187 hp it’s still faster then a 30 k super bike says a lot I will own one for sure and thank you for a wonderful video!!!

Have had my 23 for 3 months and 7000km. Changed my screen for a powerbronze double bubble. Csn easily get 50mpg on chilled out riding. Heavy bike on slow move but loses weight when moving. Got 5000km from factory tyres.

I prefer the White color combination !! Black one with a chrome delete might be okay, but I don’t like chrome next to gold. Just my subjective opinion, no offense!

To all those crying about a few numbers you can always tweak those figures by adding or reducing a gear tooth on the rear . Also a quick flash helps as well after you put some aftermarket cans on it.

Great review! I wish you could have had more time with it. And to have been able to ride a gen2 back to back for more of a comparison of the updates. Kudos to Suzuki. I love the new styling. Cleaner lines, and bold accent colors. I also appreciate the risky (non) move of staying with the analogue clocks. IMO seeing actual dials move instead of digits flashing by or a bar graph tachometer, is easier to take in and adds to the experience. There are so many excellent motorcycles available today, I'm disappointed I can't own them all. This one included.

Glad he focused on 'real world' power. Performance numbers are irrelevant if it aint smooth and usable.

Well presented thanks I had a loan of a Busa for 3 months a mate of lost his licence for about 10 years, long story was caught riding on an already 2 year suspension on a double demerit and fine long weekend. Anyway the busa is an awesome machine its comfortable handles beautifully and the power. 1st gear your right you gotta hang on it certainly takes you back somewhat, quick as really. My own bike was GSXR 600 in mid 2000, have to also give it credit I literally rode it everywhere in every condition never let me down. Ok cheers and look forward to more segments.

I miss my '06 bone stock,put tires on it,did all the maintenance,had to replace the gears for the trans all by myself and I was proud when she shifted great....untill I wrecked it, in the hospital for 6 months 😞

I rode my first and only busa, when I was at the tender age of 55, a few years ago. A friends son had one , and said I could have a go on it. The last biggish bike I had ridden, was over 30 years ago.which was a CB 750 Honda So needless to say I was a bit nervous. When I rode it I was amazed at how easy it was to ride. ( ps I was careful not to go stupid on it)

When Suzuki went from 1300 to 1340cc in 2008, it introduced an engine vibration issue that apparently was never fixed, and the new Busa is using rubber mounted handlebars to mask the vibration. I have a 2001 Busa and I weigh about 195 pounds, 200+ pounds with riding gear, which locates the center of mass too high. I can be at full throttle at 25 mph or so, but around 40 mph to 45 mph the front end lifts, more so in cooler weather. I have to really lean over the tank to reduce the wheelie factor. The front end usually settles down once past torque peak, or sometimes I have to ease off the throttle a touch to settle the front end back down smoothly, as I don't want to wear out the front suspension. 0 to 60 mph appears the be the same between the gen 1 and gen 3 Busa (1st gear is good for 80 mph), but the gen 3 should be a bit faster in the 1/4 mile. From what I've read, the gen 3 Busa weighs about 30 lbs more than the gen 1, 583 lbs versus 553 lbs (curb weight). That eats into the power to weight ration a bit, for the 187 hp gen 3 versus 175 hp gen 1. The gen 3 Busa is close to the weight of the more powerful ZX14R, but that bike is not made anymore.

I just demo’d the new Busa at a Suzuki demo event reciently & yes, everything he says about it is true. What a fantastic motorcycle. Tame enough to ride through traffic, but once you get the RPMs up…OMG, what a rush. Hang on baby!! The quick shifter is butter smooth even with my wife on the back. The suspension soaks it all up & the brakes are fantastic. Not to grabby with excellent modulation. You should absolutely not determine what bike to buy based on numbers alone. You really need to ride it. I was suprised how much I liked it. I’ve been riding for for 20yrs & my current bike is an FJR1300ES

I watched a review yesterday where a guy said he was leaving the new Hayabusa in 3rd gear, to be "in the meat of the power" on the highway, going around corners. I got the feeling that the guy didn't understand the point of the Hayabusa. The engine being 1340cc, with a really long stroke, means, you don't need to downshift to accelerate.
