Gangaji, an American born teacher and author, has traveled the globe since 1990, speaking with spiritual seekers from all walks of life.
Here she answers six or more really important basic questions.
Her message is powerful in its clarity and simplicity: True peace and lasting fulfillment are not only our birthright, they are the essential nature of our being. Gangaji invites you to discover the possibility of living your life in the freedom and joy of simply being.

Thanking you for spreading the truth, Gangaji. Surrender, not denial is the key to LIVING enlightenment... above the initial realization of it all. At least, that's how the story seems to go for most who don't truly get everything all at once. The ego dies little by little. Experience pain as deeply as possible and surrender to it. The freedom of being secure enough to be insecure and to never know what will happen, or how you will feel about it.

I find it amazing that many so feel threatened by the "idea" that if you STOP, even for a moment, "you" will cease to exist and become a "mindless" nothing. Well, I feel that the truth is is that our mind is keeping us from experiencing our true self and we need to stop, as scary as that may seem, to allow our "self" to come out of the Dualist world of good and bad (etc), and be, just be, and experience who you are - without the mind interference.

"dare you not believe in anything just for a moment...if you dare, then there is the possibility of real inquiry, real investigation..." This is the same message as that of Byron Katie, who teaches that nothing is true, and that questioning our stressful thoughts is the way out of suffering.

The Truth is the truth and needs no belief to be true. How wonderful! This core message and A Course in Miracles are different symbols (words) pointing to the same realization. I am so grateful for the blessings of my spirit guides and fellow travelers through this apparent earthly life. Peace to All.

When the thinking mind is perfectly still all problematic living comes to a grinding halt and your own perfection unfolds as the life you are living here in existence. Before that perfection can unfold as your life you will have to go through a process of being in the moment, in a state of "Present Moment Awareness", using your "silent awareness" to bring stillness into the thinking mind. This Gangaji has obviously done and she has been demonstrating this to you on her videos.

The mind is like this all the time, you want to be self-realized, however the mind plays tricks on you and says yes I want that. But it starts asking questions, the mind is like that. It can not stop being active. But to go to the root of every action, every question, every thought, every thing, every believe, you'll understand that they are all the same. It is this awareness that gives acknowledgment that there is no "right" path. The right path is a mere illusion. That is how it seems to me

This is actually a rational position to take when it comes to dealing with the mind. Thoughts occur within a primary awareness, otherwise how would we be able to perceive such thoughts? The only way thought can arise and be perceived is through a lens of experience. It stands to reason that, without that lens, we would not perceive thought. Gangaji is simply claiming that thought arises within a capacity to be aware of that thought. Therefore we we can observe thought in the same way we do any other phenomenon which arises into consciousness. You could follow a passing cloud if that was your focus. You could tune in to audible sounds. Or you could follow your thought patterns. Behind it all is awareness of those phenomena, and that primary awareness is the essence of conscious being.

There are quite a few people who found out, you could maybe ask them. This lady here is one of them. You could ask the Dalai Lama, who travels the world and advocates peace, respect, understanding..stuff like that. You might also ask Kyentse Yeshe, successful businessman and the son of a renowned Tibetan scholar. He says when, after 30 years of not being interested in the teachings of his father, he finally tried meditation, it made him more efficient, giving him more time with his family..

Peace can be coupled with understanding. This is not glazed over anything, in actuality, often spirtuality may lead to not being as dependent on the mind to understand, to conceptulize experience, because as anyone who has tried to meditate sees- the mind is often overbearing, and OVER analyzes things. I find that this can lead to being less attached and dependent, which may lead to even greater intellectual ability without being bound to it. Complexity and contradiction is true.

She's an old hippie - same message as the old "go with the flow" - let go of your ego. LSD when used right can lead you to the same conclusions too bad it was outlawed. When you can let go of all your fear and control shit other cool stuff begins to happen. I like her - believe it if you need it - if you don't just pass it on.

I guess if you've just come on board the path of awakening to self enlightenment, then this is important to hear, for it is a foundation stone to liberation from Drama; the wheel of rebirth If u want to realize it, grasp the concept within & if u really wish for it to occur, just accept it as truth, just as Buddha, after all his yrs of searching sat under a tree & declared, I will not move from this spot until I achieve enlightenment! Only to realize, after some time, that he already had

I agree, she can not be followed, but I guess that's the problem but also a way to find the solution directly. She doesn't want to be followed, I think that is her way of making you self realized. I am more found of the direct path, with direct questions to the self. Like Ramana Maharshi did or Tony Parson does. There are so many different "teachers" and ways but I guess for everyone there is someone special to get the knowledge of that there is no-knowledge but the self, isness, etc. etc.

I think, I am not certain, but I absolutely do think that one of the things that i like about the 'no belief' system is that it leaves you free to write about things from any angel of belief that you choose for a given subject or point in Time. Yes, i m absolutely certain that this is what I think.

XXX Thought is Precious XXX Thinking in it’s most part is Behavioral Activity. Behavioral Activity can be programmed. Using language as a mind software we permanently are repeating our desired goals through spoken words, just like a mantra. This way we are establishing a specific pattern of information and literally downloading as well as programming the subconscious mind, which in response will trigger the programmed action. Our subconscious mind works like a computer. It turns commands..

The mind believes it must be so, because the mind wants to believe that God is only Good but you are just getting once again into the trap of duality, that you should have powers. But the truth of the matter is you already have them. Because when there is no individual when you are truly realized, you see that everything and everyone is you. The you without mind. The pure self. I would advise you to ask your self, the questions you want to know. With the trust and awareness you already are.

She is not talking about that which can be Known with the mind. It is this which does not even bother if something is worth at all. That's her core message, what I seem to get off it. That every thing is silent awareness all is just coming from it, giving from it, being in it and going to it. Everything just is. That's the realization. Don't believe me for it, it is just this where it all comes from, resides in, and goes to. So do not take her words literally not even mine. Do not mind = no mind

Anyone looking for a legit and fully enlightened teacher, try Mooji, Gangaji, Tolle or Adyashanti. There are many phonies or not fully enlightened spiritual teachers out there. Popularity doesn't matter. Some of them have 100.000's of followers if not millions. I don't want you to believe me just because I say so however. But if you don't mind, I sincerely hope you might try these 4 instead of many others on the net. Thumbs + if you give this some consideration so other people might too.

But at the same time if its so true, why then when we are quiet, does it dissapear in a instant, leaving us humbled by our lack of knowing. It must be a veil of some sort. Sure a useful veil, and a important one, but if your seeking happiness and peace, you will have to let go of this. Its up to you on what you want, complexity or simplicity, contradiction or crystal clarity. In the end they are mere perspective, but what is truer? It is meant to deflate you, thats why it feels belittleling.

My problem with this kind of approach, it seems to focus on fulfillment of personal happiness/peace, which you can often see the speaker is stuck in, but if we can remember for a second that we are here to learn to be both Human and Divine. I can't say what the speaker has or doesn't have, just I think people tend to take the less honest approach, we tend to hypnotize ourselves rather than just pay attention.

(continuation) No doubt there are garments of identity that can one by one be removed. They are false creations of our collective minds and personality.(false ego) A safe haven is desired and a witness is created. We find previously unknown psychological peace in this. Religion says this atman is eternal. A skeptic says that it will die with the brain. What evidence can you present to the skeptic that it is 1. eternal and that 2. It is who you are.
