Finally, an episode that showed Larry Blyden, who passed away in 1975, meeting digits 0 to 9 in its entirety, and I have looked for a show this way for years! Way to go, You Tube! Of course I still remember What's My Line!

The Larry Blyden version was taped at NBC in Rockefeller Center (either Studio 6A or 8H). This paid off from time to time. If a mystery guest didn't show up they would grab a NBC celebrity who worked in the building.... such as Barbara Walters or Gene Shalit (who turns 90 on March 25th).

Wish that card reader told Larry not to go to Morrocco

Perhaps you've noticed that there is an echo in the Wally Bruner episodes of "What's My Line?" whereas there is no echo in the Larry Blyden episodes. That's because the former were taped in the Ed Sullivan Theater and the latter were taped in Studio 6A in Rockefeller Center.

Rocky Graziano was also a Mystery Guest on the original series on the lost Episode #012 (July 19, 1950).

Frank Andrews (Iacuzzo) still reads Tarot cards today in NYC. He became a "psychic" to celebrities, including Yoko Ono and John Lennon. Andy Wahol painted his portrait.

OK so obviously John Daly was the best host of "What's My Line?", but Larry was definitely a close second. liked him better than Wally

With your permission, I would say this: I have reason to believe that circumstances would dictate that in the event of Mr John Daly acting as host/moderator wholly in and of itself, per se, as pertains to the appreciation of such a show as this; it is a foregone conclusion that one may or may not in fact surmise that a singular moment as part of a series of moments in this form of what may be described as a panel show in which one would not necessarily deem such a moderator as obviously the best, as dictated by the agreed upon definition within the parameters of said reference to the state of a viewer, either at home or in the audience, and in matter of fact, also including the panelists and host, as not to forego the purveyor of such remark or action that in turn, and as a consequence would be seen to have an effect which could be described in part, as better, in the context of effective application to the degree and in the broadest terms of reference as is par for the course, under a very broad sense, if properly applied...um... there you are!

Fascinating episode, especially the card reading. It shows how interesting WML-Synidcated could be when the demonstration elements came together. It also show why Gil Fates wanted Larry Blyden as the third moderator when Wally Bruner decided to pursue his career in How To videos. We have here an episode that involves needle point and stamps, and fortune telling with cards, and an ex-boxer: articulate Blyden, with his wide interests, conducts interesting interviews in all three situations.

Not really. His rented car overturned on a road in Morocco and his body shattered beyond recovery. He was just shy of age 50.

So far I haven't seen any. I remember the color wml shows, with Blyden and Brunner as hosts. But the old shows in b/w, were better.
