The fact that Blender is a free software, feels so unreal. It's been extremely useful for my projects and it just keep getting better and better. Edit: Hello, people from the first world, thanks a lot to everyone who donates, but to the people being condescending in the replies and the ones to come, just know I'm not making any money off my projects, they just that "projects" if i had the money to donate I would donate a lot, that's why I thankful is free, i come from a place where learning 3d is only a privilege for those who can afford a barely decent computer. So yeah, toned it down.

Blender has everything I want from games. Consistent, user-friendly updates that add requested features, constantly improving performance each update instead of bogging the software down with unnecessary bloatware, and tweaking existing tools to be more user-friendly instead of maintaining them in an unwieldy state. I'm primarily glad for viewport optimization, in this case being with subdivision. Even though I know I'm a novice & make sub-optimal decisions with my models I would still struggle with such low frame rates while trying to animate on my previous gpu, and even though I've since upgraded quite massively I still somehow couldn't get the consistent 30 fps on a past scene even with shaders turned off.
