The new Quicktime gamut fix is nice if you only deliver to people who watch in Quicktime on Mac or Iphone (in VLC or IINA it will be wrong). They really need to add a tip that enabling it will mean that on Windows, Android or any TV etc. your colors are not correct as you see it in Premiere and they will be overly contrasty and dark. This really is something that Apple / the industry needs to fix not us by targeting one platform and than ignoring another.

But sometimes the pause in documentarys & Interviews is more important and says more then the words before & after ;-) So we should be careful with this kind of automation. But knowing your videos here I´m sure you are quiete aware of that point.

I'm aware :) In my interview with Walter Murch, I left out most of the pauses and filler words. In this case it was not exactly about what the pause says but rather about staying true to his original delivery. The man is the legend and I figured anyone truly interested won't mind watching his rough delivery. Still - it was a nice experiment to see what the automatic feature would do. There are videos for which I can see it being useful.

I think so. But tbh I didn't have time to check yet. I'm in the midst of a big project and kind of out of the loop for another week. But version 24.0 should be coming with all these features

Not EXACTLY.... Adobe showed Voco back in 2016 that would do this.. and it was even better.. You could TYPE words and it would made the person recoded say the words you typed! Descript came out with transcript for video in 2018.. Two years later. So technically Adobe did it first.

Nah. I'm not convinced ;) the fact that they still didn't deliver in a regular version says a lot. And Descript already has this working - you can feed voice to it and change what's being said.
