I recognized the feed material on the Deltas at first glance. That's nice. I wish more pens used ebonite for the body or feed these days. It's a really nice material.

I just received a Retro51 Tornado in "True Blue". It's the same color as my Alma Mater. It is a very nice pen. If you like a G-2, etc, you will love this at $26.

The Delta DV Imperial Blu states “Imperial Blue” (with an “e”) on the barrel. Delta made a small goof!

Hi Drew!: Some nice stuff this time! Especially those Visconti pens! THOSE ARE NICE! The Benu ice cream pen would be cool without the sparkly stuff in it. Kind of fights the concept of Neopolitan Ice cream. The Monteverde Ritma is pretty nice in the brown color, too! The Sailor is a very nice pen, also, if a bit pricey. The delta ones are very pretty! Thanks for sharing all the new stuff!!

The CYLINT is definitely a callback to Sailor's Kabazaiku model, they lool incredibly similar, the only real differences being the grip section and the exterior (the Kabazaiku has a cherry wood bark exterior). Both beautiful!

Dang it, Drew!!! I JUST got into the fountain pen world last November with a Scriveiner Classic. And since then, I have already purchased 3 different inks, your random sample set, and a vintage Elite and a modern E95s. And NOW you just made me spend more money on that dang Monteverde Espresso!!! I'm gonna be writing with my fountain pens from a box in the alley at this rate! 😂

@Gouletpens As you should be! 😂 Truth be told, you guys better hold on to Drew. He's a great salesman, and just so charming! And I love the chemistry he and Brian have in the Pencasts. But he is right! At $40 for such an elegant, beautiful looking pen, this thing is a bargain! And PLUS a free bottle of ink at the time of this video's posting?!? Easy sell. I just placed my order yesterday (Thursday, the 11th), and it's already on track to arrive to me on Monday the 15th all the way out in Maui! I can't wait to ink this up with some appropriate Robert Oster Caffe Crema (one of the samples you sent me - feels like kismet) and give it a go!

The new Sailor Cylint is extremely desirable and tempting. Ditto the quite similarly priced Sailor King of Pens Luminous Shadow pen that I really want. The shiny metal section on the Cylint is a let-down, and the price is steep. But it looks like a pen very worth buying and owning soon.

Speaking of magnetic closures: The magnet in the cap on my Visconti Rembrandt has failed completely. This seems to have been a common problem with older versions of the pen. Of course it happened after the pen was out of warranty. Visconti's US distributor wants about half the cost of the pen to fix it. No thanks. The Rembrandt is a beautiful pen but now it lies on the scrapheap of my my mistaken purchases. I will not be looking toward Visconti for any future acquisitions.

Yeah. I found them easy to ignore at first. But then Earl Grey came along, with actual tea leaves in the resin! Terrible.

Sorry, when did you say "blue" and when "blu"? I got mixed up. And is it "Médici" or "Medíci"? Please be more precise with your pronounciation. Ha! I'm kidding, of course (though I would say "Medíci", myself). Well, I guess I have to admit my addiction to fountain pens now, since I find myself looking forward to all your videos, and enjoy them! Its great to see the amazing fountain pens (and inks) you have on sale, in these videos! Please keep them coming!

It’s hard to say anything nice about Monteverde pens- except that they are usually very affordably priced. That is all. The nibs are wildly hit & miss, mostly frustrating duds. I’ve long sworn off buying Monteverde and Conklin pens.

In the years we've been selling them, our team HAS had a few complaints about the metal having issues after frequent use over time. Compared to the amount sold, it's a very, very small percentage that have reported problems. Still, not unheard of. - Drew
