I hope you understand the absolute gem that you are to the lifting community. I know it's hard to detach from objective metrics like subscriber count but you know that doing the right things for the right amount of time will get you to where you want to go. Consistency wins and it's only a matter of time before you hit your sub goals. Thank you for teaching me that consistency in the weight room and showing up for myself helps me show up for the people I care about. Thank you for giving me the resources and providing a community of like minded individuals that support each other in our journey of growth. I'm so excited to see what we can do. Let's move with intention

Just wanted to say thanks for the crazy transparency in these videos, I'm a long time sufferer of Progressive Overload Anxiety, and you talking about losing a couple reps on your preacher curls during this series really brought me back to reality, and stopped me from stressing out about my training fluctuation. Lots of people only show when they are getting stronger and bigger, and do not show the fluctuations. Showing your ups is inspirational but sometimes showing the fact that you also have "downs" can be insanely inspirational, and shows that despite where you are in your training, these things always happen.

I think anything close to or over 17 inches is phenomenal as a natural Congratulations. John Grimek of York Barbell was once asked how hard did he work to get his massive arms. He said I did not work for them I slaved for them. That is why they are rare. Arthur Jones of Nautilus fame measured Arnold's arm cold and said it was 19.5 inches . Many think he had the best biceps in history. You are in a close Zip Code to that measurement which is amazing. Going from memory Arthur Jones measured Sergio Oliva's arms cold at 20 and 7/8 inches.

Some people are too used to "lean all year" Instagram types and have unrealistic ideas. The average person on the street wouldn't think that he's fat at all.

What advice would you give to someone who has subpar genetics? I know this term is overused, but still. For example, someone who, after working out for three years, has a physique similar to someone with great genetics who is just starting out. Or someone who gains muscle and strength slowly compared to others. Sometimes it can be quite demotivating to see.

This isn’t about other people, this is about you. Your progress compared to others is irrelevant. You didn’t start lifting for others you did it for yourself.

@@Soccasteve Yes i do get the mindset of lifting for myself. It is well and good but still there is the factor of looking good to feel good.

I have pretty shitty genetics for bodybuilding but the reason I love lifting is because seeing all my movements progress in weight and strength really drives me and lets me know I’m doing something correct on a lean bulk diet. My recommendation go on a lean bulk, Creatine will make you perform better too

Just keep at it, not much to say about it. Took me 4 years just to look decent. Realize that anything from now on will put you above the rest.
