I’m so crazy about Jon Voight. While in college, getting my degree in Education, I saw “CONRACK”. I ‘boo-hooked’ like a fool. Could I make a difference in children’s lives like that? “COMING HOME” was one of the greatest films I ever saw. Jane Fonda probably wouldn’t speak to him now, and he wouldn’t care a bit. Now I love him because he’s been brave enough to express his beliefs, and what America needs. I feel exactly like he does. A Conservative voice in Hollywood is rare. Others agree with him, but they would never speak out. Jon ‘has to say his piece’. God bless this fabulous man. Thank you, Ben. For showing this great talented man respect in the interview.

The cab and driver were planned - the driver a stunt extra - but the dialogue was ad lib - A lot of these Hollywood "legends" are fake for so long that they become real. Dustin was supposed to simply dodge the cab. The cab, in the script, was meant to symbolize all of NYC rolling over the character. The shooting script says, "Rizzo angrily curses at the cabbie."

I'm conservative too but realistic enough to know each issue has many sides to it. Sometimes we try to fix issues without addressing the root causes first. Doing things out of order is equal to putting a band aid on issues. If we really want to stop abortion, we must first raise wages of women, give more promotions to women, apply the actual laws already on the books for divorces instead of siding with men simply because they are men, and we must make child support automatic with NO JUDGE having power to reduce it or excuse it and lastly, we must make child support actually enough, then it won't be such a hardship on women to raise children and there will be less abortions making it easier to ban abortions altogether.

What a great actor but more important a great human being. I have such respect for this man because he does speak his truth to us. I am from his era and have enjoyed all his movies none one of them was boring, he made his characters all unique to himself and that’s why I enjoy his films. Most of all he loves this country, God bless him always!!!

I know - CBS looks at someone who has (oh no!) different political views as highly weird. Honesty not much valued at 60 Minutes anymore. @@MTknitter22 Well, he doesn’t deserve extra credit for speaking kindly of his children - that should be a given. Or else, say nothing. They’ve had relationship problems. The most recent one that I can recall is: he was in an interview and revealing things about Angelina’s life that Angelina hadn’t put out there yet. she was mad about that. I think they had recently come to a point where they were talking more, and then there he was revealing things that weren’t about himself. I think she felt she and her life were being used by him. I don’t like him, because he was/is pro-Trump.
